When Eleanor and Nora returned, carrying large bags with their mother, they found Mia playing with her two sons.
Eleanor's face clearly froze for a moment, while Nora smiled immediately and went up to greet:
"Mia? When did you arrive?"
"I've been here for about half an hour." Mia replied.
Half an hour... Eleanor couldn't help but glance toward the bedroom and then at Aske.
"What?" Aske was baffled by the way she looked at him.
"Nothing." Eleanor slowly shook her head.
It shouldn't be possible in half an hour; I must be overthinking.
Here, Aske hurried to introduce Mia to his mother, claiming of course that the nationality was Italian.
The mother quickly chatted with Mia warmly and secretly pulled Aske aside to softly ask:
"She's too young, isn't she? Your... wife, how old is she?"
"She just looks young." Aske emphasized, "She's actually twenty years old."
"Doesn't look like it." The old lady stared at Mia, muttering.
