Had they forcefully charged through and made a clearance killing, the time could have been halved again. However, to minimize casualties as much as possible, Eric chose to have the highland Swordsmen retreat for repairs and then let the lobster gunners reload, aim, and shoot in turns, exploiting the long-range distance to take down the Undead without sustaining any injuries.
