According to legend, every time the Magic Tide rose by one cycle, it would move clockwise by 2.5 degrees, inching half an hour closer to "doomsday midnight."
Of course, apart from the Magic Tide, major plot events could also trigger the movement of the Giotto Bell.
Take the "Undead Heavenly Disaster" expansion pack as an example; when the Banshee Queen Minerva led the Undead Army to conquer the Iberian Peninsula, the Giotto Bell directly rotated by 10 degrees.
However, with the end of the expansion pack and the players' successful efforts to halt the Undead Army south of the Pyrenees, the Giotto Bell turned back by 7.5 degrees.
