St. Peter's Cathedral.
Under the escort of the Pope's Guard, Nora passed through the ornately decorated hall and walked down the corridor.
The research lab area was located beneath the cathedral. After waiting for a moment in the reception room at the entrance, Nora saw her brother, Valian, wearing a lab coat, quickly coming out from deep within the corridor.
"Nora! You've finally come back! Why haven't you sent a message home in over a year?" Valian's initial reprimand highlighted the authority of an elder brother, but then he softened his tone, "Anyway, it's good that you're back."
"It's because of the Magic Tide. I couldn't even buy a smartphone," Nora explained with embarrassment.
"Save that excuse for our parents," Valian waved his hand, "They should still be on vacation at the beach on Sardinia, and they'll be back next week."
"You're so cunning, going on vacation without taking me," Nora complained casually.
