It was 10 p.m. at night, and only then did the two young girls crawl out of their gaming pods.
Aske, who had been lying in a rocking chair all day, slowly yawned out of boredom before he noticed them walking out of the recreation room and stood up.
"You two played until this late? Forgot about today's training?" Aske put on the authority of a squad leader and flicked each girl's forehead.
However, Miel and Mia, who would normally cover their heads and feign being pitiable at this point, simply raised their heads emotionlessly and seriously said to Aske,
"We know, we'll make up for the training, but you can't just touch a girl's head whenever you like, did you know that, Squad Leader?"
Aske: ???
He sat back down in the rocking chair, baffled, while Miel and Mia exchanged glances once again.
That's right.
They couldn't let the squad leader treat them like little girls anymore... at least they had to be teenagers!
