Chapter 123 - Chapter 114: Prime Falcon

Chapter 114: Prime FalconAuthor: Geraint

Inside an abandoned warehouse, Mirko broke through the gate with a powerful kick.

"Ohryah!"

Crash!

"Come out, you bunch of pussies!! I'm gonna kick your asses!"

As Mirko strode forward and looked around, a group of crooks emerged from the shadows with seething eyes, surrounding her.

"Rabbit Hero Mirko. You're gonna regret going against us!"

The villains revealed their quirks, readying themselves to attack.

Mirko grinned, excitement bubbling.

"No matter how many of you there are, you're all going down with my kick!"

"Kill that woman!"

The villains charged.

"ORA!!"

Mirko lunged forward, sending enemies flying with her kicks.

"Arrrgh!!"

They crashed into the empty wooden crates scattered around the warehouse.

"Who wants some ass whooping? Come at me!"

"You f*cking bitch!"

The villains kept attacking but Mirko easily dispatched them.

The leader grovelled on the floor, slamming his fist.

"Dammit! If our former boss hadn't been captured by Captain Falcon, this wouldn't have happened! We went from big-time to small-time villains!"

Mirko froze at the mention of Ichika.

"What do you mean? Where's your current boss?"

"He ran off and left us here! If our old boss were here, you wouldn't leave alive. You'd be his toy, bitch!"

"Oh…"

Mirko looked disappointed.

"Who said you can turn her into his toy?"

"Kyaah!"

Mirko screamed as someone appeared behind her and grabbed her waist.

It was Ichika, wearing a menacing smile.

"Hie! Captain Falcon!"

The villain paled in fear.

"Ichika! Stop popping up out of nowhere! You're freaking me out!" Mirko yelled.

"Hehe… Sorry, Rumi. I came to see you."

"Do you see I'm in the middle of my job?!"

"But looks like you're done. I already called the authorities—they'll be here soon to arrest them."

"Hey! I'm not satisfied yet—"

"Rumi, don't give me more work."

Ichika pinched her cheeks.

"Do you know how many complaints I get about your wreckage?"

Mirko looked away, sweating.

"A simple arrest turns into a battlefield. When will you learn to hold yourself?"

"Aren't you the same, Ichika? It's unfair!" Mirko protested.

"Unlike you, I have good reason—and I make proper reports."

"Hey!"

Ichika let go of her cheeks and grabbed her hand.

"Anyway, I want to introduce you to everyone. I can't hide our relationship anymore—especially from my friends."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah."

Ichika nodded seriously.

Mirko sighed.

"Okay."

Meanwhile, the orphanage caretaker arrived at Might Inn in a service car. She stepped out and opened the back, taking out several boxes.

"Oi! Kusogaki! I know you're here! Come out and help me! These are the things you left behind at the orphanage!"

The gate opened, and Roboco appeared, followed by Kyouka and Kendo.

"Oh, right. That kid told me he lives in a dorm now. Nice to meet you—I'm the orphanage director Ichika came from."

"Eh, Ichika is an orphan?" Kyouka was surprised.

"They say he's All Might's son," Kendo tilted her head.

"Hahaha!"

The caretaker laughed.

"All Might isn't his real father—he adopted him."

"Really?"

I already knew. Roboco carried the boxes.

"Eh?"

Kyouka and Kendo looked disappointed.

Toru and others already knew. Only the new residents don't.

"I see…"

The caretaker smiled.

"These boxes have Ichika's childhood things. It's up to him if he wants to keep or throw them away. A lot of bitter memories, but I'm happy he turned out a good kid."

She got in the car and started the engine.

"I have to go back early. Tell Ichika I stopped by."

"Yes! Thank you!" Roboco bowed as the car left.

The three carried the boxes inside to the living room.

La Brava came out of the bath holding a milk bottle.

"What are those boxes?"

"Father's things from the orphanage."

When Roboco answered, Toru appeared with Momo, Himiko, and Nejire.

"Ichika-kun's childhood things? I'm curious."

"Me too."

Momo nodded at Toru.

"Maybe there's a baby picture of him."

"I want to see!"

Nejire and Himiko looked excited.

Yui and Reiko arrived, saw the group, and joined in curiosity.

"Is this okay?" Kyouka looked worried.

"Don't worry. Let Roboco handle it. He won't get angry if it's her," La Brava said.

Momo gave Roboco a cutter.

They all gulped as Roboco opened a box.

Inside were several gold medals and trophies from various competitions.

"Seriously? That's a lot!" Kyouka gasped.

Roboco opened another box filled with trophies from music, cooking, sports, and other contests—all first place.

They were amazed by how many awards he'd earned as a child.

"This guy's unbelievable!"

"He was called a genius at our school," Toru added.

All medals were gold—no bronze or silver.

Opening a third box, Roboco found a picture book from the orphanage.

Found it!

"Roboco, open it! I want to see!"

They saw a photo of the caretaker with a group of children.

"Look! It's Ichika!"

He stood at the side, faintly smiling.

"He's so small."

"Cute!"

A note said he was three years old in the picture; others were older.

The next page showed Ichika carving a giant wooden bird statue while other kids played.

"Eh?"

"Why's he doing that?"

The note read:

We don't have enough funds for food, so this weird kid, Ichika, is carving statues to sell.

"Was the orphanage really that poor? Can't believe how rich he is now!" Kyouka said.

Next, Ichika wore an apron, cooking for the kids.

"He was already working at that age?!"

They were shocked.

Next page showed Ichika sleeping with the other children—girls gathered around him, sleeping on his side.

This kid will be a genuine lady-killer when he grows up. Most girls liked him, even older ones. Unfortunately, he treated them like siblings.

"He was like that even as a child?!"

"What are you girls doing?"

Ichika's menacing tone came from behind, and they stiffened.

"Since when?"

"Looks like you've been enjoying my things without me knowing."

(To be continued.)
