Chapter 109: Ichika and KyoukaAuthor: Geraint
After changing into their Hero costumes, Class 1-A headed to Ground Beta—a training course designed to emulate a standard urban environment, complete with streets and buildings. Several of the buildings also had monitoring rooms in their basements to observe indoor exercises.
Upon entering the facility, they found All Might waiting for them with his trademark smile.
"They say clothes make the man, young men and ladies."
The class marched toward him, their expressions serious.
"…You are heroes!"
As he examined each of their hero costumes, he paused.
"That's great, everyone. You all look cool—Huh?"
He blinked when he saw Ichika still wearing his P.E. uniform.
"Ichika! Where's your hero costume?!"
"I'll wear it later. It's kind of uncomfortable since I already have weighted gear on my body." Ichika showed the density weights strapped to his arms and legs.
All Might sighed and held his head in frustration.
"Ichika, you have to participate with the class. I'm not giving you any special treatment just because you're my son. Do you understand? Wear your hero costume like everyone else—regardless of your reason."
"That's right, Ichika-kun." Toru agreed.
"You should listen to your father, Ichika." Momo added.
Ichika raised both hands in surrender.
"Okay, okay! I'll transform now."
"Transform?"
The whole class was confused.
Ichika rotated a device on his left wrist and pressed it. His body lit up, and his outfit changed into a sleek black formal suit with a white dress shirt underneath. His blazer was unbuttoned and he wore no tie. Then he pulled out a pair of brown sunglasses and slid them on with a confident grin.
Everyone stared in stunned silence.
"That's a hero costume? It looks like a normal suit to me," Kirishima said.
"This is why I hate handsome guys!" Mineta seethed.
"Tch." Bakugou looked visibly annoyed.
"Amazing!" Izuku's eyes sparkled.
"Since I can't use my abilities during school activities, this is the best I can wear," Ichika explained.
"Does it offer some kind of protection, Ichika-kun?" Toru asked.
"Of course it does." Ichika looked proud."It may look normal, but it's made with nanomachine technology. It protects the user from shock and impact," Momo explained further.
"Wow, that's amazing!" Toru poked his suit on the side.
"Hey, Toru! Stop tickling me! Hahaha!"
"Hehehe… You said it protects from anything, right?"
"Stop it—!"
Peeeeew!
Ichika accidentally touched her hand with his right hand, nullifying her invisibility.
"Eh?"
Toru's costume only consisted of light blue gloves with pale pink accents and lace-up shoes. What appeared before them now was a beautiful girl with chartreuse hair with pink specks, large eyes with violet, teal, and yellow irises, and long light-yellow eyelashes.
She was naked. Her body had a defined hourglass shape, her shoulders narrower than her hips and her figure accentuated by her nudity.
"Kyaaaah!"
Toru dropped to her knees, covering herself in embarrassment.
Ichika's eyes widened, followed by the boys who instantly got nosebleeds. Mineta and Kaminari wore perverted grins.
Panicking, Ichika quickly removed his blazer and covered her.
"I'm sorry!" he said.
"Ichika-kun, you pervert!" Toru teared up in embarrassment as her invisibility slowly returned.
"I really didn't mean to! I'm making a hero costume for you that syncs with your Quirk so this won't happen again!"
"Huh? Really?" Toru calmed down a little and glanced at him.
"Yeah."
Toru jumped on him and hugged him. Ichika quickly moved his right hand away.
"Yay! Thank you, Ichika-kun!"
Momo smirked and teased,"You're not being honest, Ichika. This has happened so many times at home. Just admit it—you don't want other guys seeing her naked."
Ichika looked away, embarrassed."Shut up, Momo."
"Hehehe…" Toru giggled.
"AHEM!"
All Might loudly cleared his throat.
"Are you all finished? We need to start the Battle Trial."
"Sorry…" Ichika and Toru quickly stood to attention.
All Might chuckled when he saw Izuku's hero costume, noticing the similarity to his own.
"Now, it's time for combat training!"
Ida raised his hand to ask if the trial was like the entrance exam. All Might explained that most villain encounters happen indoors and that villains are cunning, often hiding in the shadows.
"For this class, you'll be split into heroes and villains and fight in 2-on-2 indoor battles."
"Without any basic training?" Tsuyu asked.
"This is real battle to help you understand the basics!"
After some more explanations, students began raising questions.
"How are wins and losses determined?" Momo asked.
"Can we beat them up however we want?" Bakugou added.
"Will there be expulsions like with Aizawa-sensei?" Ochaco asked nervously.
"How are teams split up?" Ida raised his hand again.
"Isn't this cape kind of crazy?" Aoyama asked, posing.
"Can I go take a dump?" Ichika added shamelessly.
Everyone turned and stared at him.
"I'll answer all your questions!" All Might said, taking out a small notebook and explaining the rules.
The students would be paired into teams of two, drawn randomly, and assigned roles of hero or villain. The battle simulated a scenario where villains guarded a "payload" inside a building while heroes tried to capture it or defeat them within a time limit.
All Might then brought out a yellow box to draw lots.
"Since the number of students isn't even..."All Might glanced at Ichika."Ichika, you'll participate twice to balance the numbers."
"Eh?!" Ichika pointed to himself.
"It doesn't matter who you're paired with."
"Fine..."
"Alright! Let's do this quickly!" All Might raised his arm, and the draw began.

"Huh?!"
Kyouka's cheek twitched when she saw her name next to Ichika's.
Ichika gave her a thumbs-up and a wink.
"I'm counting on you, Monjiro!"
A vein popped on her temple as she glared at him.
"This guy..."
She realized she'd have to participate twice because of him.
All Might drew from two boxes marked "Hero" and "Villain" to assign roles.
"The first match will be..."
Hero: Team HVillain: Team C
Bakugou looked shocked, then grinned as he glared at Ichika, who returned the look smugly.
"I'm gonna beat your ass, Ichika!"
"Interesting… I'm looking forward to it, Kacchan."
They stared each other down.
