Inside the vast great hall, the atmosphere was cold and solemn.
Vera and the other two survivors knelt at the center of the great hall, their heads deeply lowered, not daring to look forward.
Under the towering dome, more than a dozen blurry figures sat upon obsidian thrones.
"Vera."
A voice descended from above, carrying no emotion, causing the bodies of Vera and the other two to tremble uncontrollably.
"The Holy Spirit Church world was one of our most important lower passages, yet it was destroyed just like that."
"Eugene, and another clansman, also died."
"I need an explanation."
Vera took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down.
"Elder, we encountered Ymir's Black Fog Game and the Seed of Ouroboros. They attempted to meddle with the Netherworld. We disrupted their scheme, regained control over the Netherworld, and ensured that the Netherworld seal did not suffer damage..."
