Adam first went to the potion shop and bought a bottle of spirit expansion potion. He then spent the entire afternoon meditating to restore himself to his best condition before hurrying to the entrance of the Holy Spirit Temple just before sunset.
Unlike an ordinary church, the temple building was enormous—about half the size of a gymnasium—and stood seven stories tall. It was the tallest and largest structure in the entire city.
Above the main entrance, the mark of the God's Eye was also engraved.
The God's Eye continuously monitored every person entering or leaving the temple.
"I am a student from the academy."
At the entrance, two divine guards checked Adam's identification, nodded slightly, and gestured for him to enter.
Adam was familiar with the Holy Spirit Temple. He quickly ran to the registration counter on the first floor, paid an entrance fee, and received a corresponding rune. Holding the rune tightly, he hurried up the stairs to the third floor.
