Su Ruanruan answered the phone.
Her voice was soft, "Have you come home?"
Bao Jingyan's car was parked by the roadside, he said, "Not yet!"
Su Ruanruan, hearing the sound of his breathing on the other end, felt a sudden weakness.
After a while, Bao Jingyan asked in a low voice, "Did you miss me?"
Su Ruanruan hummed softly, weak and tenderly saying, "I did."
Bao Jingyan chuckled softly.
He said, "Come downstairs, and don't let anyone notice you."
Su Ruanruan quickly got out of bed and ran to the terrace to look.
Bao Jingyan's car was parked outside the villa; he was sitting in the car, waving to her.
Su Ruanruan, surprised and delighted, threw on a coat and ran downstairs.
Once out the door, she realized she was still in her house slippers.
She always cared about being proper, wanting to change them.
By then Bao Jingyan had already gotten out of the car and, picking her up around the waist, said, "Before someone notices Miss Su, we need to leave."
