This section of Anjiang is treacherous, with its nine bends and eighteen turns. The river often weaves through towering mountains and majestic ridges, forming steep cliffs and precipices.
In the midst of those winding curves, there's an island in the heart of the river, with its periphery steep as if carved by knife and chisel. Only on the leeward side is there a waterway threading through the island's bay, forming a semi-natural river port inside.
After hundreds of years of development and expansion, this river port has grown quite large, capable of accommodating dozens of river boats simultaneously. The dense array of riverboats all bear the majestic Jiaolong banners.
Vessels flying such flags can navigate upstream and downstream on Anjiang without hindrance, as none dare provoke them. This is because they all belong to the riverboats of the Anjiang overlord—the Jiaolong Gang.
