Shaking his head, he looked at Ashley, who seemed focused on Amaya among the performers.
"At least she looks like she's having fun," Jayce muttered under his breath.
Her feline features were gone. Or rather, they were concealed with an item, like the necklace Jayce was using to hide his horn. Although she had been to the "real world" a couple of times with Bella, this was her first time going out for something that some people would define as "fun".
He let out a small sigh. At least she was smiling.
Bella bent down and whispered into Ashley's ear. The young girl narrowed her eyes and glanced around the stage until she saw Jayce lurking near the back of the stage.
