They opens the hallway gate very slightly trying not to make any sound and to avoid anyone seeing them.
Rex looks through the door which is only slightly open just to be able to see through it, he looks around to see what's the situation is like.
He finds out that there were several people being captured inside and guarding them are three more BREAKERS.
He tries to find a cover so that he can get inside the hallway.
But there were nothing close to the door that he could take cover in..
He takes a deep sigh!
Rex - it seems we are out of luck!
Aleena - what happened?
Rex - there is nothing to take cover near the gate, if we just go in like that we will be dead for sure this time...this time being the bait will also not work...aaaah what to do! What to do!
Rex thinking - FUCK! nothing is coming to my mind!

Rex one last checks the hallway and then says
Rex - ok i am going and don't open this gate until the signal ok!
