Kirana sat quietly by the poolside, gently sipping a cup of warm tea. The moon hung above like a silent companion, its light dancing softly across the surface of the water.
"Soon, it'll be a full moon," she muttered.
She watched from a distance as Denok and Limbur playfully chased each other like children. Their laughter echoed through the villa, a stark contrast to Kirana's growing loneliness.
"Tch. How annoying. Everyone's got company except me," she sighed, twirling the cup in her hand. "Maybe I need a friend too."
Her thoughts drifted to Devan. If Tama was out meeting Nadia tonight, then Devan was probably alone too. With a snap decision, Kirana stood up and set her teacup aside.
"I'll go see Devan," she said.
When she arrived at Devan's house, it looked completely deserted. A female ghost floated nearby and informed her that Devan hadn't returned from the office yet. Without hesitation, Kirana headed straight to Devan's workplace.
Inside the office lobby, she sat waiting, gazing around at the unfamiliar faces coming and going. Just then, a man passed by—tall, dignified, and eerily similar to General John Willem. But Kirana didn't take much notice.
"Mr. Erick, there's a package for you," said the receptionist.
"Thank you," the man replied, grabbing the parcel before walking away quickly.
Kirana turned to glance, but only caught a glimpse of his back as he disappeared into the parking lot.
Moments later, Devan entered the lobby. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw her.
"Pri... Princess? What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to treat you to dinner," she said casually.
Devan's face lit up. "Seriously? I'm starving!"
"Then take me to a good restaurant nearby. I'm counting on you," Kirana ordered.
"Got it!"
The two of them walked out together, laughing lightly. At the same moment, Erick was pulling out of the building's parking lot in his car. He spotted Devan walking with Kirana.
"Is that Devan? The new guy?" Erick muttered to himself. "Wow, his girlfriend's really something. Picked him up right from the office, huh?"
He chuckled and shook his head, completely misunderstanding the situation.

In another part of Jakarta, Tama and Nadia were having dinner at a simple roadside food stall. They sat under a canvas tent, sharing a plate of crispy fried catfish and warm rice.
Tama looked at Nadia nervously. "Are you okay? Honestly, I've been so anxious. I couldn't sleep, worried you'd break up with me."
Nadia smiled gently. "No, lah... Before making any decision, I wanted to hear your explanation first. And now that I know you've just been busy with work, I understand."
Tama felt a wave of relief. "Thank you. Oh, by the way, can I have your phone number?"
"Here's my business card," Nadia said, handing him the card. "Where's yours?"
"Oh... uh... I forgot mine. I left my phone at home. Was rushing," Tama lied smoothly.
In truth, Tama didn't even own a phone. Living in a magical villa beneath a lake made it impossible—electronics like phones would short-circuit from the moisture. If he wanted one, he'd have to find a magically-enhanced waterproof phone that could survive underwater for a month.
Nadia thought about discussing the job offer in Seoul, but with things between them just starting to heal, she didn't want to stir the pot too soon. She decided to keep the news to herself for now.
Their food arrived, and the two ate hungrily, chatting and laughing as the hours passed.

While Tama and Nadia enjoyed their simple dinner, Kirana and Devan took a much different route. They boarded a train bound for BSD, an upscale area in Banten Province. They were heading to a high-end restaurant for the evening.
"Ugh, this is the farthest I've ever gone just for dinner," Devan groaned.
"You're the one who suggested it!" Kirana replied, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, but that train was fast, wasn't it?"
"Hello? Did you forget who I am? With a little magic from these pretty hands, I can make the train fly if I wanted," she teased.
"Wow... that's awesome!"
The restaurant was bustling. Bright lights decorated the building like stars fallen from the sky. Inside, the tables were full, and laughter echoed from every corner. Kirana encouraged Devan to order anything he liked, even the most expensive dishes. Devan felt like royalty that night.
Just as they were settling in, a familiar figure entered the restaurant—Ara.
Devan noticed her immediately. "Hey… isn't that Ara?"
Kirana followed his gaze. "Call her over," she said.
"Oh, uh… okay."
Devan quickly approached Ara and invited her to join them. Since she was dining alone, she happily agreed.
"Princess, how are you?" Ara asked politely.
"No need to be so formal," Kirana said, waving off the honorifics. "Tonight, I just want to be a friend to both of you."
She leaned in and whispered, "Just call me Kirana. You're not my maid, after all."
Ara smiled, and the three of them enjoyed a lovely dinner together. During their meal, Kirana shared her plans to organize a fantasy-themed magic event and asked Ara and Devan to help as the organizing committee.
"I'll rent a big hall and fill it with magical performances," she explained excitedly.
"Wow, like something out of a fantasy film!" Ara said.
"If it's successful, I'll pay you both generously."
"Say no more. We're in," Devan grinned.

Later that night, Tama escorted Nadia back to her house. Before parting, he made a promise.
"Next week is the full moon," he said. "I'll come see you in the morning—not just at night."
Nadia smiled brightly. "I'll be waiting."
With that, Tama flew back to the villa, cutting through the clouds like a shooting star. As he touched down on the ground, he yawned.
"Flying is so tiring… I should've borrowed the Princess's carriage."
He entered the quiet villa and peeked into Kirana's room.
"She's not here?" he muttered.
Tama headed to the security post where Limbur was snacking as usual.
"Hey, do you know where Kirana went?"
"She didn't tell me," Limbur shrugged. "But she looked stunning. I think she went on a date."
Tama froze. "What? With who?"
"No idea," Limbur said with a smirk.
Tama turned and walked away, heading toward the lake. Limbur chuckled to himself.
"Huuu~ someone's jealous," he whispered, amused.
---
Meanwhile, Kirana and Devan had just dropped Ara off at her house. Devan then offered to take Kirana back to the lake.
As their footsteps echoed softly on the path, Tama waited behind the trees, hidden in the shadows. His heart beat faster with every sound. Who was this mysterious man with her?
As they drew closer, the moonlight illuminated their faces.
"Dev… Devan?! YOU?!"
"Hey, bro!" Devan greeted, smiling casually.
"This… this isn't right…"
Tama stared in disbelief.
Then he heard Devan's words:
"Kirana, I'll head back now. Be careful, okay?"
"Thanks. You too," she replied sweetly.
"Kirana?!" Tama gasped, shocked to hear Devan calling her by name.
As Devan walked away, Kirana followed—completely ignoring Tama's stunned expression.
Tama stood frozen under the moonlight.
"Is this… a dream? Why was the Princess with Devan?!"
