Their current traveler only has three souls. That means he can't be stuffed with another pathway and has to be replaced.
Before they replace him, they plan to drink his blood and eat his flesh while he is still alive. This will help them meet the advancement requirement for the pathway of killing and the pathway of undying.
Then, after killing the traveler, they can use his rank 4 divine flesh to create another traveler. If they can't find an epic traveler to eat, they can always create more trackers.
In the meantime, they will drink the blood of their other slaves, who are limited to one pathway. This means that their traveler, knight, assassin, and rule breaker will be useful in death just like their illusionist will be.
