(Open POV)
Empty church…
The twins meet with Ultron there, located somewhere in Sokovia.
"Talk. And if you are wasting our time…" Wanda Maximoff said.
"Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city? The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to God. I like that. The geometry of belief." Ultron said, sitting in a chair facing away from them, a cloth draped over him. "You're wondering why you can't look inside my head."
"Sometimes it's hard. But sooner or later, every man shows himself."
Ultron stands and faces them, revealing his new body. Wanda briefly looks shocked.
"Oh, I'm sure they do. But you needed something more than a man. That's why you let Stark take the scepter." Ultron said.
"I didn't expect... But I saw Stark's fear, I knew it would control him, make him self-destruct." Wanda Maximoff said.
"Everyone creates the thing they dread. Men of peace create engines of war, invaders create avengers, people create...smaller people? Uh...children! I lost the word there. Children. Designed to supplant them, to help them...end."
"Is that why you've come? To end the Avengers along with the President of the World and his friends?"
"I've come to save the world. But also… yeah." Ultron said.
Sokovia base…
"We'll move out right away. This is a start, but there's something we need to begin the real work." Ultron said.
"All of these are…" Wanda Maximoff said, referring to Ultron's bots.
"Me. I have what the Avengers, the President of the World, and Magical Girls never will. Harmony. They're discordant, disconnected. Stark's already got them turning on each other. Sayaka Miki and Kyoko Sakura have hero complexes, so those two will turn on each other. And when you get inside the rest of their heads…" Ultron said.
"Everyone's plan is not to kill them." Pietro Maximoff said.
"And make them martyrs? You need patience. Need to see the big picture."
"I don't see the big picture, I have a little picture. I take it out and look at it every day."
"You lost your parents in the bombings. I've seen the records."
"The records are not the picture."
"Pietro." Wanda Maximoff said, sadly.
"No, please." Ultron said.
"We were ten years old, having dinner, the four of us. When the first shell hits, two floors below, it makes a hole in the floor. It's big. Our parents go in, and the whole building starts coming apart. I grab her, roll under the bed and the second shell hits. But, it doesn't go off. It just... sits there in the rubble, three feet from our faces. And on the side of the shell is painted one word…" Pietro Maximoff said.
"Stark." Wanda Maximoff said.
"We were trapped for two days."
"Every effort to save us, every shift in the bricks, I think, 'This will set it off'. We wait for two days for Tony Stark to kill us."
"I know what they are."
"I wondered why only you two survived Strucker's experiments. Now I don't. We will make it right." Ultron said, looking at Pietro. "You and I can hurt them." It then looked at Wanda. "But you will tear them apart, from the inside."
(Jared's POV)
Avengers headquarters…
"He's all over the globe. Robotics labs, weapons facilities, jet propulsion labs, reports of a metal man, or men, coming in and emptying the place." Maria Hill said.
"Did anyone get hurt?" Madoka asked, walking over to Maria Hill.
"Fatalities?" Steve Rogers asked.
"Only when engaged. Mostly guys left in a fugue state going on about old memories, worst fears, and something too fast to see." Maria Hill said.
"Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko, Mami, Homura. This is a global Witch's Kiss." I said, looking at the Puella Magi Holy Quintet. "And Ultron is the Witch."
"That is not a bad comparison." Sayaka said, frowning.
"What the hell would Ultron go after them for?" Kyoko asked.
"Because he has no other choice, Sakura. Maximoffs. Well, that makes sense he'd go to them, they have someone in common." Steve Rogers said.
"Not anymore." Maria Hill said, handing Steve a tablet showing a photo of Strucker's dead body with the word PEACE written in blood on the wall next to him.
"That's a negative." Clint Barton said, talking on his cell phone. "I answer to you. Yes, ma'am."
Steve interrupts Clint, "Barton, we might have something."
"Gotta go." Clint Barton said.
"Who was that?"
"Girlfriend."
"Clint, did you tell her that we're coming?" I asked, walking up to Clint.
"I did." Clint Barton said, happily. "Thank you."
After Steve has gathered the rest of the team, he shows us the photo of Strucker's body.
"What's this?" Homura asked.
"It's a message. Ultron killed Strucker." I said, clutching the strap of my sling bag.
"Oh look! He did a Banksy at the crime scene. Just for us. How awesome is that?" Sayaka asked.
"This is a smokescreen. Why send a message when you've just given a speech?" Natasha Romanoff asked.
"Strucker knew something that Ultron wanted us to miss." Steve Rogers said.
"Yeah, I bet he…" Natasha Romanoff said, looking at the computer monitor. "Yep. Everything we had on Strucker has been erased."
"Not everything." Tony Stark said.
"Come on, guys. Let's do some reading." I said, happily.
The Avengers, the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, and I go through the physical files we have on Strucker.
"Known associates. Well, Strucker had a lot of friends." Steve Rogers said.
"Well, these people are all horrible." Bruce Banner said.
"Hang on. Tony and I know him." I said, walking up to Tony with the photo I was looking at. "When I was with Torchwood Three, I met Tony when Stark Industries was…y'know. Well, back in the day. Ulysses Klaue, he operates off the African coast. He does arms deals on the black market."
Steve gives Tony an accusing look.
"There are conventions, alright? You meet people, I didn't sell him anything. And Jared here made sure I didn't sell him anything. Even if I didn't know the fanboy well, back then." Tony Stark said, while we see the photo is of a man named Ulysses Klaue. "Ulysses Klaue, he was talking about finding something new, a game changer. It was all very 'Ahab'."
"What's this?" Thor asked, pointing to the scar on the back of Klaue's neck.
"Uh, it's a tattoo. I don't think he had it…" Tony Stark said.
"No, those are tattoos, this is a brand." Thor said.
Banner identifies the brand on Klaue's neck on the computer, "Oh, yeah. It's a word in an African dialect meaning thief, in a much less friendly way."
"What dialect?" Steve Rogers asked.
"Wakanada...? Wa...Wa...Wakanda." Bruce Banner said, reading the name off the computer.
"If this guy got out of Wakanda with some of their trade goods…" Tony Stark said.
"I thought your father said he got the last of it?" Steve Rogers asked.
"Wait. What comes out of Wakanda?" Homura asked, tilting her head.
"The strongest metal in the world." I said, looking at Steve's shield.
"Where is this guy now?" Steve Rogers asked, looking at me. "I know you know, Jared. So tell us."
Salvage Yard, African Coast…
Klaue is talking on the phone in his office.
"Don't tell me your man swindled you. I sent you six short range heat seekers and got a boat full of rusted parts. Now, you will make it right, or the next missile I send you will come very much faster." Ulysses Klaue said, ending the call and connects to another call. "Now, minister, where were we?"
Suddenly the lights go out causing a commotion in the salvage yard. The twins enter Klaue's office.
"Yeah. The enhanced. Strucker's prize pupils." Ulysses Klaue said, picking up a dish of candies from his desk. "Want a candy? Oh, sorry to hear about Strucker. But then, he knew what kind of world he was helping create. Human life, not a growth market." The twins look at each other. "You...you didn't know? Is this your first time intimidating someone? I'm afraid that I'm not that afraid."
"Everybody's afraid of something." Wanda Maximoff said.
"Cuttlefish. Deep sea fish. They make lights. disco lights. Whoom, whoom, whoom! to hypnotize their prey, then whoom! I saw a documentary, it was terrifying." Ulysses Klaue said, while Pietro speeds over to pick up a candy from Klaue's desk, and Klaue jerks at the sudden movement. "So if you're going to fiddle with my brain, and make me see a giant cuttlefish, then I know you don't do business, and I know you're not in charge, and I only deal with the man in charge."
As if on cue, Ultron breaks through the glass window and knocks down Klaue.
"There is no 'man' in charge. Let's talk business." Ultron said, as Klaue gives Ultron some vibranium from his stash. "Upon this rock I will build my church. Vibranium."
"You know, it came at great personal cost. It's worth billions." Ulysses Klaue said.
Ultron chuckles and remotely puts money in Klaue's bank account, "Now, so are you. It's all under your dummy holdings? Finance is so weird. But I always say, 'Keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which'."
"Stark." Ulysses Klaue said, his eyes widening.
"What?" Ultron asked.
"Tony Stark used to say that...to me. You're one of his."
"What?! I'm not...!" Ultron said, grabbing Klaue. "I'm not. You think I'm one of Stark's puppets, his hollow men? I mean, look at me. Do I look like Iron Man? Stark is…" He chops off Klaue's arm. "I'm sorry. I am sor…ooh, I'm sure that's going to be okay. I'm sorry, it's just I don't understand. Don't compare me with Stark! It's a thing with me. Stark is…he's a sickness!"
Stark appears in his Iron Man suit.
"Ahh, Junior." Tony Stark said, landing, and Thor, Steve, Madoka, Sayaka, and I came up behind him. "You're gonna break your old man's heart."
"If I have to." Ultron said.
"We don't have to break anything." Thor said.
"Clearly you've never made an omelet."
"He beat me by one second." Tony Stark said, sadly.
"Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark. It's what, comfortable? Like old times?" Pietro Maximoff asked.
"This was never my life."
"You two can still walk away from this. You don't have to work with Ultron, you know." Sayaka said, looking at the twins.
"Oh, we will." Wanda Maximoff said, smirking.
"We know you've suffered." Steve Rogers said.
"Uuughh! Captain America. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without a war. Sayaka Miki. One of the Law of Cycle's personal assistants, pretending you can live without Kyosuke Kamijo. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but…" Ultron said, looking between Captain America and Sayaka Miki.
"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it." Thor said.
"I think you're confusing peace with quiet." Ultron said.
"Yeah. We know. So, what are you using the Vibranium for? If things are the same as I remember it." I said, crossing my arms.
"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan…" Ultron said, attacking Stark, and his drones drop down to attack Steve, Thor, Madoka, Sayaka, and I.
The Twins join the fight.
"Shoot them!" Ulysses Klaue yelled, as the rest of us fight.
"Which ones?" Klaue's mercenary asked.
"All of them!"
"Move, move, move!" Klaue's mercenary said, looking at his men.
The rest of the team, including Natasha, Barton, Mami, Kyoko, and Homura now battle it out with Ultron's drones, Klaue's men, and the twins as Stark fights with Ultron.
"Pietro, stay down." Kyoko said, setting up a latticework barrier, after knocking down Pietro.
"It's time for some mind games." Ultron said, through a drone, talking to Wanda.
Banner hears the commotion as he waits in the Quinjet, "Guys, is this a Code Green?"
Wanda uses her power on Thor, Madoka, Mami, and Kyoko then I come up to them.
"Thor! Madoka! Kyoko! Mami! Is everything okay?" I asked, running up to the God of Thunder and the three Magical Girls.
"The girl tried to warp our minds. Take special care, I doubt a human could keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty." Thor said.
I know that Thor is having a hallucination of seeing himself at a party on Asgard. I also know that Madoka is probably having a hallucination with the rest of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet at Mami's apartment, Kyoko is having a hallucination at the arcade playing Dance Dance Revolution, and Mami is having a hallucination about relaxing with her friends after a long day of battling Witches.
Wanda then uses her power on Steve, Natasha, Homura, and Sayaka.
Ultron packs up the Vibranium, "This is going very well."
Wanda tries to sneak up behind Barton, but he quickly turns and puts an electric arrow on her forehead.
"I've done the whole mind control thing. Not a fan." Clint Barton said, while Pietro speeds in, knocks down Barton, picks up Wanda and speeds off. "Yeah, you better run." Steve drops his helmet and walks off, before Barton looks at the rest of us. "Whoever's standing, we gotta move! Guys?"
(Open POV)
Natasha's vision…
Natasha sees herself in the facility where young girls are being taught ballet.
"Again." The ballet instructor said, talking to her students.
"You'll break them." Natasha Romanoff said, sadly.
"Only the breakable ones. You are made of marble. We'll celebrate after the graduation ceremony." Madame B said.
"What if I fail?" Natasha Romanoff asked.
A younger Natasha is being trained to be an assassin.
"You never fail." Madame B said.
Madoka Kaname's vision…
Madoka is eating cake and drinking tea at Mami's apartment with the rest of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet.
"This cake is so good, Mami." Madoka said, happily.
Madoka is enjoying her cake and her cup of tea, not knowing what is going on.
Steve Rogers' vision…
Steve sees himself in a 1940's dance hall.
Peggy Carter comes up to him, "Are you ready for our dance?"
Kyoko Sakura's vision…
Kyoko is busy playing Dance Dance Revolution when Sayaka walks up to her with Madoka.
"Took you long enough." Kyoko said, smirking.
"Sorry!" Sayaka said, worried. "Dancing to our theme song again?"
"Hell yeah I am!"
"Can I join?" Madoka asked, standing next to Sayaka.
"Sure." Kyoko said, smirking.
Thor's vision…
Thor's vision has him in Asgard. He's watching his surroundings when Heimdall, eyes milky white, spots him.
"Is it him? Is that the first son of Odin?" Heimdall asked.
"Heimdall, your eyes?!" Thor exclaimed.
"Oh, they see everything. They see you leading us to Hel. Wake up!" Heimdall yelled, as he started to strangle Thor.
Mami Tomoe's vision…
Mami entered her apartment with Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko, and Homura right behind her.
"That Witch was tough!" Kyoko yelled.
"I could use some cake!" Sayaka chirped.
"Me too. What about you, Homura?" Madoka asked, looking at Homura.
"I could use some cake." Homura said, happily.
"I'll go and get them. What tea would you like?" Mami asked.
Mami walked over to the kitchen to grab some tea and cake.
Steve's vision…
Steve is with Peggy in the dance hall.
"The war's over, Steve. We can go home. Imagine it!" Peggy Carter said, excitedly.
Suddenly the dance hall is empty. Steve sees himself dancing with Peggy.
Sayaka's vision…
Sayaka is playing video games with Madoka and Kyoko, "No fair! How did you get the Smash Ball?!"
"I'm better than you are at this game." Kyoko said, smugly.
"Madoka! Can you tell Kyoko to let me win for once?" Sayaka asked, holding her game controller.
"Sayaka, Kyoko…" Madoka said, looking between Sayaka and Kyoko fighting over who won in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Thor's vision…
"I can still save you." Thor said.
"We are all dead. Can you not see?" Heimdall asked.
Thor pushes Heimdall away from him.
"You're a destroyer, Odinson. See where your power leads." Heimdall said.
Electricity hits Thor and spikes around the room, destroying things.
Homura's vision…
Homura is watching Madoka fade away from her, after her best friend said goodbye to her.
"Madoka!" Homura cried.
Natasha's vision…
Natasha is being trained by Madame B to be an assassin.
"Sloppy. Pretending to fail. The ceremony is necessary for you to take your place in the world." Madame B said.
"I have no place in the world." Natasha Romanoff said.
"Exactly."
(Jared's POV)
Salvage Yard, African Coast…
Wanda suffers in pain from the electric arrow Barton had hit her with.
"What can I do?" Pietro Maximoff asked, looking at his sister.
"Ah, it hurts." Wanda Maximoff said, sadly.
"I'm gonna kill him. I'll be right back."
"No. I'm over it. I want...I want to finish the plan." Wanda Maximoff said, looking at the Quinjet where Banner is waiting. "I want the big one."
Stark corners Ultron in the shipyard.
"Ah, the Vibranium's getting away." Ultron said.
"And you're not going anywhere." Tony Stark said.
"Of course not, I'm already there. You'll catch on. But first, you might need to catch Dr. Banner." Ultron said.
Stark angrily shoots Ultron and flies off to find Banner who's turned into the Hulk and ready to wreak havoc on the nearest city.
"Tony, the Hulk is heading towards Johannesburg, South Africa!" I cried, picking up Sayaka's body after I picked up the rest of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet's bodies. "You have to stop him!"
"Thanks for the hint, Jared. News or footage. Keyword: Hulk." Tony Stark said, seeing news footage of Hulk destroying the city. "Natasha, I could really use a lullaby."
Barton is sat with Natasha who's still stuck in her vision as I used my ghost powers to lay the Puella Magi Holy Quintet next to Natasha. The Puella Magi Holy Quintet are still stuck in their visions.
"Well, that's not gonna happen. Not for a while. The whole team, including the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, are down. You got no back up here." Clint Barton said.
(Open POV)
Johannesburg, South Africa…
"I'm calling in VERONICA." Tony Stark said, as the Hulk is wreaking havoc on the nearest city.
Tony Stark brings out his Hulkbuster armor to stop him.
"Alright everybody, stand down!" Tony Stark yelled, before looking at the Hulk. "You listening? That little witch is messing with your mind. You're stronger than her, you're smarter than her, you're Bruce Banner."
The Hulk roars in anger.
"Right, right, right! Don't mention puny Banner." Tony Stark said, as the Hulk throws a car at Stark and attacks him. "Okay."
The Hulk and Tony Stark start fighting, throwing each other around.
"In the back? Dick move, Banner." Tony Stark said, annoyed.
They battle it out more, but Stark is struggling to beat Hulk.
"VERONICA, gimme a hand." Tony Stark said, and the Hulk destroyed one of Stark's arms, VERONICA sends in a new one and Stark uses it to repeatedly punch Hulk. "Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep!"
Tony Stark picks up the Hulk.
"Okay, pal, we're gonna get you out of town." Tony Stark said, as he and the Hulk head towards a building. "No, not that way, not that way!" They crash through the building. "Come on, Bruce! You gotta work with me!"
The Hulk continues to battle with Tony Stark.
Tony Stark stops an elevator and he looks at the people inside the building, "Everybody out! Going to get ugly!"
Tony Stark knocks down the Hulk.
"I'm sorry." Tony Stark said, as the Hulk attacks Stark and pulls out parts of the Hulkbuster armor. "Damage report." The damaged computer buzzes a reply. "That's comprehensive. Show me something." The computer shows him the building ahead is clear of civilians. "How quickly can we buy this building?"
Stark drops Hulk through the building completely destroying it. At the same time the army arrives to intervene, as Hulk comes out of Wanda's mind-hold, Stark knocks him out cold.
(Jared's POV)
Quinjet…
Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rogers, Thor, and the Puella Magi Holy Quintet are free from their respective visions. We are all back on the Quinjet.
"The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is. There's been no official call for Banner's arrest, but it's in the air." Maria Hill said, on screen.
"Did you call the Stark Relief Foundation, Judgment and Anti-Skill?" I asked, sipping on some bubble tea.
"Already on the scene. How's the team?" Maria Hill asked, on screen.
"Everyone's okay. We took a major hit. But we're fine. We managed to give Ultron and the Maximoff twins the slip."
"Well, for now, I'd stay in stealth mode. And stay away from here." Maria Hill said, on screen.
"So, run and hide?" Tony Stark asked.
"Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer."
"Neither do we."
"Thanks for trying." I said, switching off the monitor and ending the call.
Stark and I walked over to Barton who is flying the Quinjet.
"Hey, you wanna switch out?" Tony Stark asked, walking up to Barton.
"No, I'm good. If you and Jared wanna get some kip, now's a good time. Cause we're still a few hours out." Clint Barton said.
"Where are we a few hours from?" Sayaka asked, looking at me.
"Somewhere safe." I said, happily. "I actually like it. A lot."
Outside Barton house…
The Quinjet lands outside a large farmhouse and we all walk towards the house.
"What is this place?" Thor asked.
"A safe house?" Tony Stark asked.
"Let's hope." Clint Barton said, happily.
We all entered the house.
Barton house…
"Honey, I'm home." Clint Barton said, smiling.
Barton's heavily pregnant wife, Laura, walks in from the kitchen.
"Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead." Clint Barton said.
"Hey." Laura Barton said, kissing her husband.
"This is an agent of some kind." Tony Stark said, looking at Thor.
Clint Barton is introducing his wife to the rest of Avengers and the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, "Girls, gentlemen, this is Laura."
"I know all your names." Laura Barton said, smirking.
"How does she know our names?" Homura asked, telepathically.
"Did you tell her?" Mami asked, telepathically.
"Me? Tell the wife of Hawkeye?" I asked, telepathically.
The rest of the Avengers and the Puella Magi Holy Quintet all look at Laura Barton awkwardly.
"You seriously told her about us?" Kyoko asked, telepathically.
"Why?" Sayaka asked, telepathically.
"Because you five are awesome. And are basically superheroes at this point." I said, telepathically.
"Ooh, incoming." Clint Barton said, when his children, Cooper and Lila, ran in.
"Dad!" Lila Barton cheered.
Barton picks up his daughter.
"Hi, sweetheart!" Clint Barton chirped, kissing the top of his son's head. "Hey, buddy! How you guys doing? Ooh…"
"These are...smaller agents." Tony Stark said, looking at the rest of the Avengers and the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, as they watched with surprise.
"Um, we aren't like the Avengers." Madoka said, telepathically.
"You're just ordinary people who save the world from complete destruction multiple times." I said, telepathically.
"That is true. We do."
"Look at your face! Oh, my goodness!" Clint Barton cooed, looking down at his son.
"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" Lila Barton asked.
"Why don't you hug her and find out?" Natasha Romanoff asked.
Lila rushes towards Natasha, who picks her up in her arms.
"And did you bring Uncle Jared?" Cooper Barton asked, looking around for me.
Cooper Barton walked up to me and I gave him a fist bump.
"Hey Cooper. How's it going? My little man. Hope you've been playing the Nintendo Switch with Lila that you got two years early." I said, looking down at Hawkeye's son.
"I have! Thank you, Uncle Jared!" Cooper Barton said, excitedly.
"What game did you and Lila play today?"
"The one with the race cars!"
"We're sorry for barging into your place." Madoka said, guiltily.
"Yeah. We would have called ahead, but we were busy having no idea that you existed." Tony Stark said, looking at Laura Barton.
"Yeah, well, Fury and Jared helped me set this up when I joined. They kept it off SHIELD's files. I'd like to keep it that way. Jared's been keeping it that way for years now. Because he knows how much I love and care about my family. I figure it's a good place to lay low." Clint Barton said, walking over to his wife.
"Honey. Ah, I missed you." Laura Barton said, hugging her husband.
"How's little Natasha, huh?" Natasha Romanoff asked, touching Laura's stomach.
"Sorry. Laura ended up with a baby boy." I said, walking over to Sayaka and Kyoko to stand in between them.
"Jared's right. She's…Nathaniel." Laura said, embarrassed.
Natasha bends towards Laura's pregnant stomach, "Traitor."
The hallucinations brought on by Wanda continue to creep up in Thor's mind and he walks out of the house.
Outside Barton house…
"Thor." Steve Rogers said, frowning.
"I saw something in that dream. I need answers, I won't find them here." Thor said, looking over at me.
"Going to see Dr Erik Selvig?" I asked, clutching the strap of my sling bag.
"That's the one." Thor said, as he used his hammer to fly away.
Steve and I turn to enter the house but Steve hears Peggy's voice from Wanda's vision.
"We can go home." Peggy Carter said, in Steve's head.
Instead of going inside, Steve turns and walks away while I entered the house.
Barton's house…
I used my ghost powers to turn myself invisible and I saw the Puella Magi Holy Quintet playing with Lila and Cooper. Which I'm rather relieved about. Having those five to look after the kids to save the parents from worrying about said kids. Laura checks Barton's wound that Pietro had given him.
"See, you worried for nothing. Can't even feel the difference, can you?" Clint Barton asked.
"If they're sleeping here, some of them are gonna have to double up." Laura said, smirking.
"What game are you girls playing with Lila and Cooper?" I asked, telepathically.
"We're playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate." Sayaka said, telepathically.
"I got the Smash Ball again!" Madoka said, telepathically.
Clint laughs, "Yeah, that's not gonna sell."
"What about Nat and Dr. Banner? How long has that been going on?" Laura Barton asked.
"Has what?" Clint Barton asked.
Laura laughs, "You are so cute."
"Nat and… and Banner?"
"I'll explain when you're older, Hawkeye. Jared would know what I'm talking about, he is the king of shipping." Laura Barton said, happily.
"Oh. Okay." Clint Barton said, sadly.
"It's bad, right? Nat seems really shaken."
"Ultron has these allies, these uh, kids, they're punks really. They carry a big damn stick and Nat took a serious hit. Someone's gonna have to teach 'em some manners."
"And that someone be you. You know I totally support your Avenging. I couldn't be prouder. But I see those guys and those girls, those 'Gods' and those 'Magical Girls'..." Laura Barton said, frowning.
"You don't think they need me." Clint Barton said, looking at his wife.
"I think they do. Which is a lot scarier. They're a mess. Especially the Magical Girls. They shouldn't be out there fighting. They're too young and middle schoolers. They're kids like Lila and Cooper."
"Yeah. I guess they're my mess. The Avengers and the Magical Girls."
"You need to be sure that those teams are really teams and that they have your back. Things are changing for us. In a few months time, you and me…are gonna be outnumbered. I need.....just be sure."
"Yes, ma'am." Clint Barton said, kissing his wife.
Then as Laura places her arm around her husband's waist, she touches his wounded side.
"I can feel the difference." Laura Barton said, smugly.

U-Gin Genetic Research Lab, Seoul, Korea…
Cho enters her lab, she sees Ultron.
"Scream, and your entire staff dies. I could've killed you, Helen. The night we met. I didn't." Ultron said.
"Do you expect a thank you note?" Dr. Helen Cho asked.
"I expect you to know why."
"The Cradle." Dr. Helen Cho said, and she hears her own recorded voice.
'This is the next thing, Tony.' Dr. Helen Cho said, through Ultron.
"This...is the next me." Ultron said.
"The regeneration cradle prints tissue. It can't build a living body." Dr. Helen Cho said, sadly.
"It can, you can. You lack the materials. You're a brilliant woman, Helen. But we all have room to improve." Ultron said, using the scepter to mind-control Cho.
(Jared's POV)
Barton's house…
I'm still in my ghost form and I'm invisible to Natasha and Bruce. Natasha and Banner are still experiencing the after effects of Wanda's hallucinations.
Banner walks out of the bathroom and sees Natasha waiting outside, "I didn't realize you were waiting."
"I would've joined you. But, uh, it didn't seem like the right time." Natasha Romanoff said, sadly.
"They used up all the hot water." Bruce Banner said.
"I should've joined you."
"Missed our window."
"Did we?"
"The world just saw the Hulk. The real Hulk, for the first time. You know I have to leave." Bruce Banner said, frowning.
"But you assume that I have to stay? I had this, um, dream. The kind that seems normal at the time, but when you wake…" Natasha Romanoff said.
"What game are you playing with Lila and Cooper now?" I asked, telepathically.
"Oh. We're playing Mario Kart World." Madoka said, telepathically.
"Hey! Why did you launch that blue shell?" Sayaka asked, telepathically.
"Because I can!" Kyoko yelled, telepathically.
"What did you dream?" Bruce Banner asked, looking at Nat.
"That I was an Avenger. That I was anything more than the assassin they made me." Natasha Romanoff said, letting out a sigh.
"I think you're being hard on yourself."
"Here I was hoping that was your job." Natasha Romanoff said, moving closer to Bruce.
"What are you doing?" Bruce Banner asked.
"I'm running with it, with you. If running's the plan. As far as you want."
"Are you out of your mind?" Bruce Banner asked, turning away from Natasha.
"I want you to understand that I'm…" Natasha Romanoff said.
"Natasha, where can I go? Where in the world am I not a threat?"
"You're not a threat to me."
"You sure? Even if I didn't just... there's no future with me. I can't ever... I can't have this, kids. Do the math, I physically can't." Bruce Banner said.
"Neither can I. In the Red Room, where I was trained, where I was raised. Um, they have a graduation ceremony. They sterilize you. It's efficient. One less thing to worry about. The one thing that might matter more than a mission. It makes everything easier. Even killing." Natasha Romanoff said, and she hesitates for a moment. "You still think you're the only monster on the team?"
"What? So we disappear? Like Jared does with his ghost powers."
Outside Barton home…
Steve, Stark, and I are chopping wood outside Barton's house.
"Thor didn't say where he was going for answers?" Tony Stark asked.
"I know where Thor is going for answers. But it's a bit personal." I said, chopping my section of wood.
"It being personal isn't that bad. Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things. I was kind of hoping Thor would be the exception." Steve Rogers said, sadly.
"Yeah, give him time. We don't know what the Maximoff kid showed him." Tony Stark said.
"'Earth's Mightiest Heroes'. 'Magical girls make hopes and dreams come true!' Pulled us apart like cotton candy." Steve Rogers said, looking between Tony Stark and I.
"Seems like you walked away all right." Tony Stark said, sadly.
"Is that a problem?"
"I don't trust a guy without a dark side. Even Jared has a dark side called Oriru. Call me old fashioned."
"Well let's just say you haven't seen it yet."
"Well, Cap, you know Ultron is trying to tear us apart, I hope." I said, frowning.
"Well I guess you'd and Stark know. Whether one of you tells us is a bit of a question." Steve Rogers said, looking between Stark and I.
"Banner, Jared, and I were doing research." Tony Stark said.
"That would affect the team."
"That would end the team. Isn't that the mission? Isn't that the 'why' we fight? So we can end the fight. So we get to go home?"
"Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts, innocent people die. Every time."
"You're not wrong about that. You're really not wrong about that, Steve." I said, looking down at the ground. "Demon's Run. I told you about that, right?"
"You did." Steve Rogers said, walking up to me for a hug. "You okay?"
"No. I'm not."
"I'm sorry." Laura Barton said, interrupting us. "Mr. Stark, Jared, uh, Clint said you wouldn't mind. But…our tractor, it doesn't seem to want to start at all. I thought maybe the both of you might…"
"Yeah, we'll give her a kick. Come on, Jared." Tony Stark said, looking at Steve, as he turned to leave with me. He is referring to his pile of chopped wood. "Don't take from my pile."
"You can take from my pile, Cap." I said, happily.
Barn…
Stark and I enter the barn and we walk over to the tractor.
"Hello, Deere. Tell me everything. What ails you?" Tony Stark asked, looking down at the tractor.
Fury shows up from the other end of the barn, "Do me a favor. Try not to bring it to life.
"Ah, Mrs. Barton, you little minx. I get it. Maria Hill called you, right? Was she ever not working for you?" Tony Stark asked, looking at Fury.
"Artificial intelligence. Stark, you never even hesitated. Jared here hesitated from it, because of his adventures with the Doctor." Nick Fury said.
"That is true. I did." I said, crossing my arms.
"Look, it's been a really long day. Like, Eugene O'Neill long." Tony Stark said.
"Oh. Long Day's Journey into Night." I said, smiling.
"That's the one. So, Fury, how about we skip to the part where you're useful?"
"Stark, look me in the eye and tell me you're going to shut him down." Nick Fury said. "Jared wants to shut him down, but you're stopping him from doing so."
"That's because Jared doesn't want to make things worse for us. His influence here can change the future. Anyway, you're not the director of me and Jared." Tony Stark said.
"I'm not the director of anybody. I'm just an old man, who cares very much about you and Jared." Nick Fury said.
"And I'm the man who killed the Avengers. Jared's the man who killed the Puella Magi Holy Quintet. We saw it. I didn't tell the team and Jared didn't tell the Magical Girls. How could we? We saw them all dead, Nick. We felt it. The whole world, too. It's because of me. I wasn't ready. And I roped Jared into it, because I was more scared than he was. I didn't do all I could." Tony Stark said, guiltily.
"Tony, you've done plenty. Especially with the likes of Harley Keener." I said, clutching the strap of my sling bag. "Maybe you should build Pepper a farm."
"That I should. To get away from all this."
"The Maximoff girl, she's working you, Stark, Jared. Playing on your respective fears." Nick Fury said, looking between Tony Stark and I.
"We weren't tricked, we were shown. It wasn't a nightmare, it was our legacy. The end of the path I started us on." Tony Stark said.
"You've come up with some pretty impressive inventions, Tony. And Jared, you've done some amazing feats with or without the Doctor. War isn't one of them."
"We watched our friends die. You'd think that'd be as bad as it gets, right? Nope. Wasn't the worst part."
"The worst part is that you didn't."

Thor, dressed in casual clothes, waits for Selvig as he leaves the building.
"I like the look. If you're going for inconspicuous, though. Near miss." Erik Selvig said.
"I need your help." Thor said.
"It's nice to be needed."
"It's dangerous."
"I'd be disappointed if it wasn't."
Barton's house…
Fury meets with Stark, the rest of the Avengers except Thor, the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, and I.
"Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time. My contacts all say he's building something. The amount of Vibranium he made off with, I don't think it's just one thing." Nick Fury said.
"What about Ultron himself? Can we find him" Kyoko asked, her hands behind her head.
"Ah. He's easy to track, he's everywhere. Guy's multiplying faster than a Catholic rabbit. Still doesn't help us get an angle on any of his plans though."
"Let me guess. He's still going after the nuclear launch codes to wipe out us, the Magical Girls, and the rest of humanity." I said, clutching the strap of my sling bag.
"Yes, he is, but he's not making any headway."
"I cracked the Pentagon's firewall in high school on a dare." Tony Stark said, smugly.
"Yeah, well, I contacted our friends at the NEXUS about that." Nick Fury said.
"NEXUS?" Steve Rogers asked.
"It's the world internet hub in Oslo. Every byte of data flows through there. Fastest access on Earth." Bruce Banner said.
"So what'd they say?" Clint Barton asked.
"He's fixated on the missiles, but the codes are constantly being changed." Nick Fury said.
"By who? Who's changing the codes?" Sayaka asked.
"Parties unknown."
"Do we have a friend? Anyone that can help us?" Madoka asked.
"Ultron's got an enemy, that's not the same thing. Still, I'd pay folding money to know who it is." Nick Fury said.
"I might need to visit Oslo, find our 'unknown'." Tony Stark said.
"Tony, are you okay if you take Mami, Homura, and I with you?" I asked, looking at Tony.
"So, we're going with the range fighters to find our 'unknown'."
"Basically. Yeah. Homura's time stopping ability is our trump card against Ultron."
"Well, this is good times, boss. But I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that." Natasha Romanoff said, looking at Fury.
"I do, I have you. Back in the day, I had eyes everywhere, ears everywhere else. Like Jared does now, and he still does now. Jared has it, whether it is the past, the present, and the future. Here we all are, back on Earth, with nothing but our wit, and our will to save the world. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard." Nick Fury said.
"Steve doesn't like that kind of talk."
"You know what, Romanoff?" Steve Rogers asked, looking at Natasha Romanoff.
Natasha smiles mischievously at Steve.
"So what does he want?" Nick Fury asked.
"To become better. Better than us. He keeps building bodies." Steve Rogers said.
"Person bodies. The human form is inefficient. Biologically speaking, we're outmoded. And that's why the Incubators do what they do with Magical Girls so they can fight Witches. But he keeps coming back to it." Tony Stark said.
"When you three programmed him to protect the human race, you amazingly failed." Natasha Romanoff said.
"They don't need to be protected, they need to evolve. Ultron's going to evolve." Bruce Banner said.
"How?" Nick Fury asked.
"Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho?"

Korea…
Cho is using the Cradle to create a new body for Ultron, "It's beautiful. The Vibranium atoms aren't just compatible with the tissue cells, they're binding them. And SHIELD never even thought…"
"The most versatile substance on the planet and they used it to make a Frisbee. Typical of humans, they scratch the surface and never think to look within." Ultron said, using a laser to break open the scepter's blue gem.
A yellow gem that was inside floats out and lands in Ultron's hand. Ultron places it in the head of the body.
(Jared's POV)
Barton's farm…
"I'll take Natasha, Clint, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko." Steve Rogers said.
"Alright, strictly recon. Jared, Homura, Mami, and I will hit the NEXUS. We'll join you as soon as we can." Tony Stark said.
"So, if Ultron is really building a body…" Sayaka said, happily.
"He'll be more powerful than any of us. Maybe all of us. An android designed by a robot."
"You know, I really miss the days when the weirdest thing science ever created was me." Steve Rogers said, smirking.
"I'll drop Banner off at the tower. Do you mind if I borrow Ms. Hill?" Nick Fury asked.
"She's all yours. Apparently." Tony Stark said.
"What are you gonna do?" Steve Rogers asked.
"I don't know. Something dramatic, I hope." Nick Fury said, as he looked over at me. "Are the three still up?"
"They are. Zola's Algorithm got removed from them ages ago. Now all that is left is Project Insight." I said, happily. "The rest of my friends are on them. They'll listen to you. And will help if things go south."
"Thank you. That is all I needed to hear. Where are they hovering over?"
"The tower. But they're invisible. And I do mean that. I made sure of it."
"Good."
"I'm gonna finish re-flooring that sunroom as soon as I get back." Clint Barton said, happily.
"Yeah, and then you'll find another part of the house to tear apart." Laura said, smiling.
"No. It's the last project. I promise." Clint Barton said, kissing his wife.
Later, Laura watches us fly off in the Quinjet.
Cave…
Thor and Selvig enter into a cave.
"This is it. The Water of Sight." Erik Selvig said.
"In every realm, there's a reflection. If the water spirits accept me, I can return to my dream, and find what I missed." Thor said.
"The men who enter that water, the legends don't end well."

"A hacker who's faster than Ultron? He could be anywhere. And as this is the center of everything, I'm just a guy with his friends looking for a needle in the world's biggest haystack." Tony Stark said, smugly.
"So, how do you find it?" Homura asked, tilting her head.
"It's simple. You bring a magnet!" Jared chirped, sipping on a Baja Blast.
"Oh, I'm decrypting nuclear codes and you don't want me to. Come and get me." Tony Stark said, as he starts playfully singing as he types.
The cave…
At the cave Thor and Selvig, Thor is now in the water and goes back in his vision with Heimdall
"Wake up!" Heimdall yelled.
Thor starts getting electric charges going through his body.
"Thor!" Erik Selvig cried.
"Extinction." Ultron said, in Thor's visions.
Thor sees more-- the Avengers, the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, Jared Shay, the destruction of Earth. He then sees the Infinity Stones and their vessels.
Korea…
Cho is still with Ultron.
"Cellular cohesion will take a few hours, but we can initiate the consciousness stream. We're uploading your cerebral matrix...now." Dr. Helen Cho said.
"I can read him. He is dreaming." Wanda Maximoff said.
"I wouldn't call it dreams. It's Ultron's base consciousness. Informational noise. Soon…"
"How soon? I'm not being pushy." Ultron said.
"We're imprinting a physical brain. There are no shortcuts. Even if your magic gem is…" Dr. Helen Cho said.
Wanda, reading Ultron's mind, sees a vision of global annihilation, which horrifies her and she screams and falls back into Pietro's hold.
"How could you?" Wanda Maximoff asked, looking at Ultron.
"How could I…what?" Ultron asked.
"You said we would destroy the Avengers, the President of the World, and Magical Girls. Make a better world."
"It will be better."
"When everyone is dead."
"That is not…the human race and Magical Girls will have every opportunity to improve." Ultron said.
"And if they don't?" Pietro Maximoff asked.
"Ask Noah."
"You're a madman." Wanda Maximoff said, looking at Ultron.
"There were more than a dozen extinction level events before even the dinosaurs got theirs. When the Earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it. And believe me, he's winding up. We have to evolve. There's no room for the weak." Ultron said.
"And who decides who's weak?" Pietro Maximoff asked.
As Ultron is distracted, Wanda breaks the scepter's hold off of Cho.
"Life. Life always decides. There's incoming. The Quinjet. We have to move." Ultron said.
"That's not a problem." Dr. Helen Cho said, cancelling the upload to Ultron's consciousness.
"Ugh." Ultron said, blasting Cho while Wanda and Pietro run off. "Ah, wait, guys!" He blasts Cho's technicians. "They'll understand. When they see they'll understand. I just need a little more time."
Ultron unplugs himself from the Cradle.
Outside U-Gin Genetic Research Lab…
Steve is on the U-Gin Genetic Research Lab roof with Clint, Natasha, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko.
"Two minutes. Stay close. Come on, Kaname, Miki, and Sakura." Steve Rogers said, looking at Clint, Natasha, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko.
U-Gin Genetic Research Lab…
"Dr. Cho!" Madoka cried, finding that Dr. Helen Cho was wounded.
"He's uploading himself into the body." Dr. Helen Cho said, sadly.
"Where is Ultron and the body?" Sayaka asked, knowing that using her magic on the scientist is a bad idea.
"The real power is inside the Cradle. The gem, its power is uncontainable. You can't just blow it up. You have to get the Cradle to Stark." Dr. Helen Cho said.
"First things first, we have to find it." Kyoko said, smirking.
"Go." Dr. Helen Cho said, frowning.
Quinjet…
"Did you guys copy that?" Steve Rogers asked, over the Quinjet's comms.
"We did." Clint Barton said.
"I got a private jet taking off across town, no manifest. That could be him." Natasha Romanoff said.
"There." Clint Barton said, noticing a truck heading across a bridge. "It's a truck from the lab. Right above you, Cap, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko. On the loop by the bridge. It's them. I got three with the Cradle, one in the cab. I could take out the driver."
Outside U-Gin Genetic Research Lab…
"Don't!" Madoka said, worried.
"She's right." Sayaka said, sadly. "If that truck crashes, the Mind Stone could destroy the city."
"Hell yeah! The only thing we can do is draw out Ultron like we would a Witch." Kyoko said, smirking.
Roof of the truck…
Steve, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko jump onto the roof of the truck.
"No, no, no, no, no. Leave me alone!" Ultron yelled.
"Well, he's definitely unhappy! Girls, we're gonna try and keep him that way." Steve Rogers said, looking back at the three Magical Girls.
"You're not a match for him with the Magical Girls, Cap." Clint Barton said.
"Thanks, Barton." Steve Rogers said.
Ultron unplugs himself from the Cradle and blasts Steve back onto the three Magical Girls. The four landed onto another car as they tried to enter the truck, but with some maneuvering Steve and the Magical Girls managed to get back onto the truck's roof.
"You know what's in that Cradle? The power to make real change, and that terrifies you four." Ultron said, looking between Steve, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko.
"I wouldn't call it a comfort." Steve Rogers said, trying to fight with Ultron as Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko try to back up the super soldier. "Nat. The Magical Girls are down."
Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko end up knocked out.
"Stop it!" Ultron yelled, while Steve's shield gets caught in his chest.
Ultron smacks the shield and the three Soul Gems away and fires at Steve, along with the bodies of the unconscious Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko.
"We got a window. Four, three… give 'em hell." Clint Barton said, looking at Natasha.
"A hundred meters. It's easy to scoop those things up." Natasha said, dropping out of the Quinjet on a bike and riding towards the truck. On her way, she picks up Steve's shield along with the three rings containing the Soul Gems of Madoka Kaname, Sayaka Miki, and Kyoko Sakura. "I'm always picking up after you boys and girls."
"They're heading under the overpass. I've got no shot." Clint Barton said.
"Which way?" Natasha Romanoff asked.
"Hard right... Now."
Natasha heads over the truck. She throws Steve back his shield and throws the Magical Girls back their Soul Gems. Steve places the three Soul Gems back to the respective Magical Girls' body. Steve uses his shield to knock Ultron away from him. Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko woke up with their respective Soul Gems reunited with their bodies.
"What happened?" Madoka asked, looking over at Sayaka and Kyoko.
"Damn it. Ultron really knows about us." Kyoko said, annoyed.
"How long were we out for?" Sayaka asked.
"A few minutes at most, girls. Don't worry so much. Out of the way, coming through! Sorry, coming through!" Natasha Romanoff said, looking at the pedestrians on the pavement as she chases after the truck on her bike.
Steve, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko continue their battle with Ultron on top of the truck.
"Come on!" Kyoko yelled.
"Hey Clint. Can you draw out the guards for us?" Sayaka asked.
"Let's find out." Clint Barton said.
"Beep beep!" Natasha Romanoff said, looking at the pedestrians in her way.
Barton manages to draw out the Drones from the truck, "Heading back towards you. So whatever you're gonna do, do it now."
"I'm going in. Cap, Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko. Can you keep him occupied?" Natasha Romanoff asked.
The speeding train…
"What do you think we've been doing?" Steve Rogers asked, as he and Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko continued their battle with Ultron on a speeding train.
Quinjet / Truck…
As Natasha enters the truck, the Drones head back, pick up the truck and lift off.
"The package is airborne. I have a clean shot." Clint Barton said.
"Negative. I am still in the truck." Natasha Romanoff said.
"What the hell are you...?"
"Just be ready, I'm sending the package to you."
"How do you want me to take it?"
"Uhh, you might wish you hadn't asked that."
The speeding train…
Pietro and Wanda turn up on the train to help Steve, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko fight with Ultron.
"Please. Don't do this." Ultron said, sadly.
"What choice do we have?" Wanda Maximoff asked.
Ultron flies off.
"Damn it! We lost Ultron! Clint! Nat! He's heading your way!" Kyoko yelled.
Quinjet…
"Nat, we gotta go." Clint Barton said, frowning.
Nat drops the cradle into the Quinjet but her foot gets caught by Ultron and she's pulled away.
"Nat! Cap, Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko. You see Nat?" Clint Barton asked.
"Clint, if you have the package, just get it out of here! Get it to Stark and Jared! Now!" Sayaka said, over the speaker.
"Do one of you have eyes on Nat?" Clint Barton asked.
"Just go!" Madoka said, over the speaker. "Hurry! We'll be fine!"
Reluctantly, Barton takes off in the Quinjet.
The speeding train…
"Civilians in our path." Steve Rogers said, and Pietro speeds off with Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyoko. The super soldier looks over at Wanda. "Can you stop this thing?"
As Pietro, Madoka, and Sayaka, picks up civilians and moves them out of the way of the train, Wanda uses her powers and stops the train.
After stopping the train, Wanda goes over to an out of breath Pietro.
"I'm fine. I just need to take a minute." Pietro Maximoff said.
"Very tempted not to give you one." Sayaka said, happily.
"The Cradle. Did you get it?" Wanda Maximoff asked.
"Stark will take care of it with Jared." Steve Rogers said.
"No, he won't."
"The hell?! You don't know what you're talking about! Tony Stark isn't crazy at all." Kyoko said, scoffing.
"He will do anything to make things right." Wanda Maximoff said.
"Stark, come in. Stark. Anyone on comms?" Steve Rogers asked.
"Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?"
(Jared's POV)
Lab…
Some time has passed after Barton has taken the Cradle to Stark, Banner, Homura, Mami, and I.
"So, got any update on Nat?" Sayaka asked.
"Haven't heard anything yet. Nat's alive. Since things haven't changed from how I remembered it. If it did, Ultron would be rubbing our faces in it, that he killed her." I said, sipping on some Baja Blast.
"This is sealed tight." Kyoko said, trying to open the Cradle with her spear.
"We're going to need to access the program, break it down from within." Bruce Banner said.
"Hm. Any chance Natasha might leave you a message. Outside the internet. Old school spy stuff?" Tony Stark asked.
"Like some Morse Code." I said, looking up at Clint Barton. "Nat might be using it."
"There's some nets I can cast. Morse Code could be it. Yeah, alright. I'll find her. And I'll look out for some Morse Code." Barton said, leaving the room.
"Jared, we can work on tissue degeneration together. If you can fry whatever operational system Cho implanted, Tony." Bruce Banner said, looking between Tony Stark and I.
"Would ghost powers cause tissue degeneration?" I asked, holding my hand above the cradle.
"Your ghost ray could."
"Yeah, about that." Tony Stark said, smirking.
"No." Bruce Banner said, looking at Stark.
"No way." I said, as Ecto-Energy came out of my right hand.
"Bruce, Jared, you have to trust me." Tony Stark said, sadly.
"Kinda don't." Bruce Banner said.
"Bruce, I'm sorry. But I knew. Our ally? Yui texted me when we were at Clint's place." I said, typing away on a nearby computer. "She told me about the guy protecting the military's nuclear codes…well, we found him."
I brought up the 3D image of JARVIS' consciousness.
"Hello, Dr. Banner." JARVIS said.
"Bruce, Ultron didn't go after JARVIS because he was angry. He attacked JARVIS because he was scared of what he could do. It's like you being scared of what the Hulk can do." I said, looking down at the floor.
"Jared's right. Going off of what he knows. JARVIS ended up in that state. Okay? Scattered, dumped his memory. But not his protocols. He didn't even know he was in there. Yui knows about JARVIS' protocols and lets Jared know. Jared relayed what Yui told him. That JARVIS' protocols are safe. Until Jared, Yui, and I pieced him together." Tony Stark said.
"So, you want me and Jared to help you put JARVIS into this thing?" Bruce Banner asked.
"No, of course not! I want to help you and Jared put JARVIS in this thing." Tony Stark said, while Banner and I shake our heads. "We're out of my field here. And we're out of Jared's field here. Bruce, you know bio-organics better than anyone."
"And you just assume that JARVIS' operational matrix can beat Ultron's?" Bruce Banner asked.
"JARVIS has been beating him from inside without knowing it. And Yui has been giving JARVIS a helping hand from the year 2026, while we are in the year 2015. This is the opportunity. We can create Ultron's perfect self, without the homicidal glitches he thinks are his winning personality. We have to." Tony Stark said.
"I believe it's worth a go. Miss Yui was helpful in finding my protocols for Mister Stark and President Jared." JARVIS said.
"No, we're in a loop! Jared and I are caught in a time loop. This is exactly where it all went wrong." Bruce Banner said, annoyed.
"It really did go wrong here when we built Ultron." I said, guiltily. "We shouldn't have built it in the first place."
"I know, I know. I know what everyone's going to say, but they're already saying it. We're mad scientists. We're monsters, buddies. The two of you gotta own it. Make a stand." Tony Stark said, while Banner and I shake our heads. "It's not a loop. It's the end of the line."

"I wasn't sure you'd wake up. I hoped you would, I wanted to show you something." Ultron said, as Natasha becomes conscious. "I don't have anyone else. I think a lot about meteors, the purity of them. Boom! The end, start again. The world made clean for the new man to rebuild. I was meant to be new. I was meant to be beautiful. The world would've looked to the sky and seen hope, seen mercy. Instead they'll look up in horror because of you. You've wounded me. I give you full marks for that.
