Chapter 40 - 40 cult stuff and enchanting

Sitting down i drank the potential potion, once i drank it i felt a sense of calmness wash over me and a screen popped up.

i could feel that i would be faster at gaining skill levels and learning things so i decided to make use of that.

I had 3 and a half days left until i had to go back to the academy so i decided to go and train for most of the time mostly in the sun to decrease my weakness to sunlight to a degree that it won't be visible to ppl that i am getting hurt, i also made sure to make my heart beat thanks to my telekinesis and heated my body with fire magic so that i felt alive to other people.

At the end of my training i managed to raise some of my stats by a bit.

While at it i actually managed to lower my weakness to tier 1 meaning that being in the sun only caused slight irritation to my skin so i reassigned my af to go back to what it did previously.

I also finally seemed to turn my gacha luck upside down since i finally got 3 rare items in a row which made me happy at the realisation that i don't have the gacha curse.

After duplicating everything i fused both of the batteries with my ring increasing its mana capacity to 6600.

Before i went back to the academy i also bought a 5,000$ phone and a 40,000$ laptop because i always wanted one and i could easily afford it now.

Once i arrived in my dorm room i talked with my roommates and went back to the regular routine for the next 4 months.

In that time like half of my skills reached lvl 100/100 thus giving me the ability to tier them up and in some skills i could pick how they would grow for example energic defense.

I could either increase the amount of energic dmg it blocks and increase how much mana it would eat up(times 50 mp/s) or i could make it grow into a passive skill as it lvl ups and i choose the passive skill option since i don't want my mana to be eaten up at a rate of 1250 per second which would dry up my mana reserves faster then america mines for oil.

For these 4 months i didn't really have much time to go and kill monsters so i settled for mostly training and learning things.

As i was training and reading the newspaper something interesting caught my eye which would have been easily overlooked even by me had i not been bored out of my mind.

There seemed to be a hidden message saying: three days from now, abandoned cabin south of the capital, one day by horse, ritual, syric order.

This was quite the good timing, mostly because we had 2 free weeks starting today.

After about 2 hours of travel and 3 hours of stealthily finding the cabin i started looking around for any people nearby and i found a regular guy with a weird looking tattoo on his tongue that guy had the stats equivalent to a B rank adventurer but he had most of them in charisma and he had a class called cult preacher.

Staying put i observe him and wait until night comes.

As i observe him i see that he has a syringe with his own blood and he is injecting each tree with about a few milliliters.

This lasts until sundown at which point he makes his way over to the cabin and goes to the bedroom and sits down on a chair.

He takes out a healing potion and drinks it before going to bed to sleep.

When he is asleep i buy a sleeping gas grenade and teleport to his room before making the grenade go off inside his room to knock him out even further.

Once that is done i possess him and read his memories while being extremely careful to not make him suspicious once he wakes up.

Upon looking at his memories for the next 7 hours i found out that this guy is a cultist that worships to some weird demon named holz that is a tree like entity with power over plants and trees and he wants to create a corrupt forrest that basically worked like a lesser version of the corruption from but it had to have the plants or trees fuse with the creature over a few days to make them a sort of animal plant hybrid which would increase their strenght.

The syric order was planning on sacrificing 50 people in a ritual and one of their cultists to make said cultist into a vessel that could contain about 10% of power that holz has, which brings to the more important stuff.

Holz's 10% should be equal to a low SSS ranker and in this cultist's memories i also found out that there are a load of demon cults and that this holz demon isn't even the strongest demon entity that is in this world and there are also many other cults and orders around the continent but almost all of them are hidden.

After this i stopped possessing the cultist and i teleported away to make some plans for the future and to enchant some accessories.

I went to the project zomboid world for the day to do the stuff and i created a better version of my ring 4 times over this one of these rings could hide 300 stat points but sadly it could not be stacked but that's why i made 4 of these because i had a work around: my perk synthesis and skill duplicate.

It took me basically 5 hours to create four of these so i duplicated them and fused them all together to hide 900 of my stats which now means if someone can see my power level it would say 292 which would make me seem like an upper B rank.

Next i bought 4 black skin tight suits that covered my whole body which i enchanted to make me somewhat see tghourgh.

I duplicated and fused the 8 enchanted suits which made me like 90% see tghourgh.

Next i bought boots and gloves and a face mask that i enchanted to make them absorb sound and i duplicated and fused them to absorb even more sound.

Now 24 hours have passed since i went to project zomboid to enchant the stuff.

Getting back to world i went and started heading to the secret basement to inspect it if there was anything the cultist didn't know about.

After checking the cultist was sleeping i went into the secret basement where i found a few rare herbs and some things like chalk vials of animal blood.
