Chapter 33 - 33 make a deception roll

(i forgot to upload yester day sorry lol)

Exploring the large cave system i came across a variety of monsters from zombies and creepers to demon eyes.

And i found out that the demon eyes can split in the middle and have rows of piranha like teeth.

When i ate the demon eye that was about the size of a bowling ball i found out that they can fly because they have telekinesis that only works on them which was quite weird to say the least.

About 3 hours later of exploring i decided to come back to the surface and on my way up i found an enderman.

I did not see it's face so i decided on activating my skills just in case and slowly approached him.

When i was about 2 meters away he was just staring at me curiously so i just decided to teleport behind him and cut off his head.

It was so fast he couldn't even react in time to teleport.

After looking at its head i could see that his eyes were ender pearls which were the size of decently sized pebbles.

Taking them out and eating a piece of the endermans flesh i find out that if i am fully transformed into an enderman i have this urge to kill something that looks at my face which is weird and at a later date i will experiment with it but for now i turned back and climped the top of the gigantic tree to look for any signs of civilization.

In the far distance i could see signs of smoke and that means there is a chance for humans or some sort of fire monster but i am more inclined to it being a sign of humans.

When i arrived 2 minutes later while sneaking i saw a small party of 5 humans that looked like adventurers.

Changing my clothes into commoners clothes that were a bit disheveled i turned into a young 12 year old boy.

After that i smeared some mud on myself and dried it with a bit of fire magic i went away from the camp or something like that and started gathering about 4 slimes that followed me and tried killing me which didn't work even if i fell asleep and let the slimes eat at me for the night.

After gathering the slimes i was about 150 meters away from the camp so i started running towards the camp at a pace that i just barely outran the slimes.

When i was close to the camp i started breathing heavily acting as if i was exhausted and i started tearing up and yelling for help.

Soon i got the party's attention and they readied their weapons three had melee weapons a hammer, sword and a spear.

One had a magic wand and the other had a bow.

They soon started attacking the slimes which they took care of quite easily so one of them asked me if i am hurt to which i replied "no but i feel exhausted from all the running and thank you for saving me from those slimes".

After that they started asking me questions such as why i am so deep in the forest alone or where are my parents.

I lied and told them about how my dad told me in the morning about showing me how to fight monsters but after some time of walking in the forest i got lost and tried finding him all day (right now it's like 4 hours until night time).

My lies worked and they told me that i can sleep in one of their sleeping bags and that in the morning they would take me to the city that was 5 hours away.

After thet we just talked and went to sleep while 1 of the party members took the lookout duty for a a few hours.

When i pretended to sleep i just made my mana better until it was morning.

The night was pretty quite which kinda surprised me since i thought i would get "woken up" at least once in the night because of monsters.

I pretended to wake up while looking at my mana increase.

After eating breakfast we headed to the city and were about 4 hours away from the city and we were even on a simple path that led there so i decided to say i needed to pee so i went a bit away behind some trees.

When i was behind the trees i started teleporting and in less then 40 seconds i was 1 kilometer away from them on top of a tree, at which point i transformed into my regular human form.

And with that i ran and teleported towards the city and arrived not even 30 minutes later.

Now why did i pretend to be a child? Well i wanted to work on my mana for the night without being bothered by monsters.

Looking at the city it looks pretty good it's about the size of ampdale and it looks like any other fantasy city with stone walls around it.

Walking towards the closest gate to the city i see that everyone is going in and out without being asked for an id or anything like that so i just walk tghourgh and walk around the city.

After asking around a bit i know about some hot spots in the city so i went to the library.

After reading for about 2 hours i found some info about life crystals, mana stars, basics of magical weapons and a lot about common sense in this world.

And a few more important things were that this city was the capital, and that one of the strongest people in this world could with some luck and preparations defeat the eater of worlds in a one on one battle, there were about 5 ppl like that and they were called terrarians or world's chosen each one had a different class summoner, warrior, mage, bowman and a gunman.

Walking out of the city i look at a map i brought and i start walking in the direction of crimson.

After running and teleporting for 2 hours i was on the outskirts of the crimson biome and i was impressed.

What i saw was red grass that seemed to be moving on it's own, trees seemingly bleeding and the air had a slight red fog which from reading some books i found out that it drives creatures slowly to madness and also distorts their bodies into fleshy abominations but you would need to be there for at least 12 hours before you started going mad and another 12 hours for your body to start mutating and to fully mutate it can take up to 1 week.

Walking into the biome i take a breath and i can feel that the fog is slightly stinging my lungs.

After walking a bit i get a new notification.

[Mutation resistance skill gained]

This skill basically made it harder for me to mutate unwillingly.
