Marco's backup was somehow never able to arrive at all. Their best guess was the soldiers that had come to back up Sebastian. Maybe they had done something so Marco's men wouldn't be able to make it. That wouldn't have been a problem if Nancy hadn't shown up.
"Mikhail," Samuel only had to say his name again for him to understand his duty.
Mikhail quickly grabbed Nancy's arm and pushed her closer to himself, sternly looking at her, gesturing to her to stay put and close to him no matter what.
"What now, Samuel?" Sebastian asked, "I didn't even have to go look for her." He added as he scoffed.
The soldiers who entered behind Nancy pointed their guns toward Mikhail, ready to shoot him if needed. There were a total of 20 soldiers, and Mikhail wasn't an immortal.
Samuel was unsure whether he wanted Mikhail to take care of the situation or not. If he had been alone, things would've been much better. And with Nancy's arrival, everything was 10 times worse than it would be.
