The attacks of the people with the mark of the darkness fragment is getting worst. They also started attacking the island whenever I'm there, even in public places that the HA put an alert regarding to this people and started an investigation.
We tried interrogating or getting into the mind of the captured ones to see who is behind of all this attack but whenever we start doing it, they started convulsing then after a few minutes dying. We also tried to removing the control from them but the same thing happen. They keep all the alive mark people in the underground top security of the HA on restraints.
When not dealing with the mark people, I help the twins in the island with the damages of the recent battle and if not I help Evienne to recover faster with the help of the book of Visyries.
I place Evienne once again in the magic circle and place mana ores around her then place my hand in her head and started chanting the chant I learned from the book.
The mana ore around started disappering one by one and was being absorb by Evienne at the same the some of my energy was also being transferred to Evienne, the thing that I learned from Zael when she was recovering.
When I was done, I lay myself on the ground and look at Evienne, I saw her slowly opening her eyes and getting up from the ground. She slowly spread her wings and the phoenix fire started speading in her body and ended it with an explosion of Phoenix fire.
"Welcome Back, Evienne"-Demetri
I said to her smiling and she smiled back. She transformed herself into her human form and help me get up. I heard running footsteps coming into the room and the door burst wide open and behind it was Zael. She run with hurry towards her mother and hugged her tightly.
"I'll leave you two to have your moment, I need to take a bath"-Demetri.
They just nodded and I exit the room. After I take a bath, I go to where Flint is, in Aiya's medicinal garden which inside her Medicinal Journal. I activated the runes and the door appear.
Flint and I were working on the cure for the eternal slumber. Aiya already started working on it because this phenomenon also happened in the other dimension before the battle with the darkness fragment, we were just continuing what she left.
She was almost done finding the cure, we just needed one last thing, something that is pure light, which we were still thinking what is. We started experimenting with things that we thought are pure light, the sun, fire, light casted magic, but nothing works.
Since Evienne is awake, I telephatically ask her if she knows anything that is possibly could be the pure light that is needed for the cure. And what she answered makes all sense, since the eternal slumber affects the soul, it also needed a pure soul which is the purest light of all.
I have plenty of soul summons that we can use but I don't know if we needed a human soul to cure a human, but there's no harm in trying.
I told Flint about it and he smacked his head for forgetting about the soul a the purest form of light. He began mixing the ingredients we already know needed for the cure and after I summon one of the soul summon and turn it into a ball of light and added it into the cure. It glowed so bright that it blinded us for few seconds.
When our eyes adjusted, we saw the cure remain glowing brightly white but not as bright as before. We pour the cure into a vial and Flint gave it to me to test it out to someone and onlyone person comes to mind, my sister.
I teleported myself to HA and go directly to my sisters room. I make all the flowers in her room bloom again and walk slowly to her bed and sat beside her. I remove the strands of hairs that were in her face and fix the blanket that was covering her, making sure she was comfortable when the cure works.
I open the vial and slowly poured some of the cure to her mouth. I sat back down on the side of her bed and waited for something to happen. A few minutes have past and still nothing happen, and I began losing hope maybe a human soul was really needed. I was about to stand up when I feel a tug in my shirt. I quickly look at my sister and saw her looking at me and slowly showed me that silly smile that I miss seeing.
"Good morning, Demetri"-Diana.
"Good Morning, Diana"-Demetri.
I replied to her with a smile.
