"Boy, I can't say I didn't see it coming but I still ask you, what are you doing here?" Last laser asked in a calm tone looking at Doryoku who was in front of him.
"I wanted to ask if I could intern with you again" Doryoku said quite confidently about his decision.
"Didn't you hear what I said in class? It would be good for you to go somewhere else, maybe a hero with an emitter/impulse type quirk like yours, besides I'm not a very active hero" said Last laser, denying with the head and giving Doryoku some recommendations.
"Laser-sensei, learning about how to be a hero was always secondary, I want to learn as a person as well and you are the most experienced I know" said Doryoku still quite determined by his idea and making Last laser let out a tired sigh.
"How long were you planning to wait out here by the way?" Last laser asked noting that if it weren't for Director Nezu who sent him home early he wouldn't be having this conversation.
"5:00.pm. maximum about five more minutes, I have to go home to prepare dinner for Okā-chan" Doryoku said thoughtfully as he said the last.
"First of all you should know that I don't have an agency, besides there are some informants lately who are around my house" Last laser said with a warning tone making Doryoku hesitate for a moment.
"Are they very dangerous?" Doryoku asked with a bit more caution and looking for more information before taking a decision.
"Not really, but it can be a bit annoying and even creepy for someone normal or inexperienced like you" Last laser said with a thoughtful tone making Doryoku think for a moment.
"Technically that is also training and it could help me... Yes, I still hold my posture" Doryoku said with one hand on his chin and still confidently.
"So I have nothing more to add, see you here on Monday at 7:00.am, although I don't have an agency there are many things to do so I recommend you consider this as a professional" Last laser said with an explanatory tone while Doryoku nodded in understanding.
"Thank you very much Laser-sensei, sorry if I delayed you in something important" said Doryoku quite grateful and respectful.
"It's not that bad, I was going to sleep" Last laser said shrugging and walking home while Doryoku had a nervous smile.
"Speaking of sleeping I recommend you bring coffee or something, believe me, sleeping with eyes in the shadows is always not easy at all" Last laser said with a calm tone while Doryoku got a chill just imagining that.
When Last laser was lost from sight, Doryoku realized that next week would be quite difficult, but it was the best way to continue progressing so he could only let out a slight sigh and walk home while he enjoyed his way.

"*Sniff* My boy is leaving for two weeks and he will leave me alone" Nintai said crying comically as she imagined those two hellish weeks without her son while they both had dinner.
"It's only two weeks Okā-chan, besides I won't even be that far... I think" Doryoku said trying to calm his mother to no avail.
"You have to call me at least once a day Dory-chan! Otherwise I will be very worried!" Nintai said quite nervously as she imagined that fateful moment while Doryoku finally understood where he came from overthinking and imagining the worst ever.
"Sure, there's no problem with that" Doryoku said with a slight smile to try to reassure with his mother.
"And what will you do Dory-chan? You won't face a mafia will you?" Nintai said with a lot of concern and some fear in that regard.
"I doubt it, Laser-sensei said there were some informants in his home, but what I want to learn has nothing to do with taking on mafias so I don't think anything will happen" Doryoku said thoughtfully as Nintai looked at him slightly of confusion.
"And then what will you learn?" Nintai said quite curious to see that Doryoku didn't want to learn about being a hero per se.
"Well, all the advances I've had have been for various reasons, but I think they only came to light because I needed them to overcome an obstacle, without Laser-sensei's tests I'm sure I would still continue the same as a year ago, so I think this is the best I can choose" Doryoku said in an explanatory tone as Nintai listened carefully.
"Then there is nothing more to say Dory-chan, consider yourself totally supported by me" Nintai said with a wide happy smile seeing that her son still wanted to grow more as a person.
"Thank you Okā-chan" said Doryoku returning the smile and then continue eating quietly.
"Speaking of that... I haven't seen Oboro-kun in a long time, how is he doing?" Nintai said suddenly remembering that she hadn't seen Oboro in weeks.
"The idiot even though he may not look like it worries about his notes and homework, that's why I'm always going to help him and that's why he always leaves early before you arrive, maybe I should visit him before going to the internships" said Doryoku with an explanatory and thoughtful tone while Nintai also thought a bit about it.
"I wonder if he was always like that or it was fault of hanging out with you... Something must have happened to him I suppose" Nintai said with a thoughtful tone and something sad about it.
"Am I a bad influence?" Doryoku asked a little concerned about it.
"Of course not Dory-chan, you are the kindest child I could ask for, but the way you think and express yourself is contagious just like Oboro-kun's, that way of looking beyond and always being ready for the worse is not bad in itself, but some people are just better off not knowing the bad things than can happen all the time" said Nintai squeezing Doryoku's cheeks as she explained a bit about what she was thinking.
"I see... how am I supposed to fix that?" Doryoku said understanding his mother's point but still somewhat concerned.
"It can't be done, that's something that only Oboro-kun can solve, each person thinks and processes things differently, it will still surely help if you talk to him about it" Nintai said still with an explanatory tone while Doryoku nodded in agreement.
"I still have so much to understand, it's horrible" Doryoku said a little guilty not realizing it before.
"Dory-chan, every day you try to be better and help others, that is the most important aspect you can have and it is only a matter of time before you are a great person" said Nintai quite calmly making Doryoku smile slightly again.
"Okā-chan, you sound too wise sometimes, I think you're gaining wisdom" Doryoku said with quite pride because of how she knew his mother was at times.
"You indirectly told me old Dory-chan, you should be careful with that" Nintai said a little hurt and with a warning tone.
"I'm sorry hehe" Doryoku said smiling nervously at the way his mother misinterpreted his words.

*Ring*
The next day, Doryoku went to Oboro's house in his typical wine-colored shirt to pay him a visit and rang the bell to notify the rest of the people inside of his arrival.
Doryoku sat on a kind of platform used to put potted plants in front of the entrance and waited for someone to open the door very calmly.
After almost 15 minutes of waiting, the door was opened to which Doryoku got up from his makeshift seat and waited in front of the door.
When it opened, Doryoku could see Oboro's mother who looked around with a bit of curiosity until she noticed Doryoku and was pleasantly surprised.
"Ohhhh, Doryoku-kun how good to see you!" Oboro's mother said opening the door with a wide smile.
"Good afternoon Ms. Shirakumo, I'm sorry I didn't warn you earlier" Doryoku said a little embarrassed at appearing so suddenly.
"Even after so many years you are still very shy, this is your second home never forget it" said Oboro's mother laughing slightly at Doryoku's behavior.
"Come on come on, I'm sorry it took so long but you only rang the bell once and I thought it was my imagination" said Oboro's mother with an explanatory tone and a bit sorry for having taken so long to realize it.
Doryoku entered the home and walked straight to the second floor to see what Oboro was doing right now.
And a tip that should be taken into account is to knock on the door before entering a teenager's room, apparently a common teenager could do hormonal things when locked in his room, something that surprised Doryoku quite a bit when he found out.
*Knock Knock*
When he touched the door, it opened slightly, so Doryoku waited a minute and decided to enter the room on his own.
And when he entered, as most of the times, the first thing he found was Oboro asleep like a body at a crime scene.
"You leave it very easy for me friend" said Doryoku with a malicious smile and then look for a bucket of cold water in the bathroom and throw it on Oboro.
"Damn you Doryoku!" said Oboro suddenly waking up and quite annoyed knowing who was the only person so vile and vindictive to do that.
"What a tragedy right?" Doryoku said with a mocking smile and quite satisfied.
After Oboro changed his clothes to a drier one, he seemed as awake and energetic as ever.
"And what brings you to the man's lair?" Oboro said with a wide, proud smile and some curiosity about Doryoku's visit.
"Man's lair? It fits very well, no woman can bear to be here for sure" Doryoku said shaking his head as he saw a pork chop stuck to the ceiling.
"It's called adapting, I didn't want my room to be full of dirty dishes so I stuck a chop to the ceiling in case I was hungry and washed the plate" said Oboro in an explanatory tone and quite satisfied as if it was a good idea.
"You know what? I better not ask, I came to talk about your atypical psychosis transmitted by me" said Doryoku changing the subject and going straight to the point.
"What do you mean? I'm more than fine, plus I don't know what the hell is 'atypical'" said Oboro with a wide relaxed smile and bowing his head in confusion.
"I'm going to say exactly what you thought the moment you threw that chop on the ceiling" Doryoku said pointing the chop over him as Oboro paid attention.
"You thought 'If at some point I'm hungry, mom is gone and I don't have money as a last option I'll have that chop, for sure with a little spices and a frying pan will fix it'" Doryoku said in a calm tone while Oboro's mouth was open at shock.
"Wow, how did you know?" Oboro said curiously about it.
"Because I'm disturbed ok? I thought that was already clear" Doryoku said with a shrug about the subject.
"So what? What's wrong with being prepared for the worst like you always do? It seems to work well for you" said Oboro still not understanding Doryoku's point fully.
"The problem is that you even have dark circles, you put your shirt backwards and the chop on the ceiling, but mainly, is that you should not follow my example in that regard" said Doryoku in an explanatory tone and then paused a little to let that Oboro process everything.
"I wake up 1 hour before the alarm goes off because I'm afraid of being late and failing, I check each task at least three times before handing it in and still I always have doubts and I'm always ready for everything, because otherwise I don't know if I would do well" Doryoku said in a tone much calmer than he should, making Oboro worry a bit.
"But what the hell friend? I always knew you were extremely cautious, but I never thought it was so horrible" said Oboro in shock and feeling somewhat guilty at not realizing before to help.
"The worst thing is that neither did I, I only realized it a few months ago and it was thanks to being able to feel in addition to all the progress that I had" said Doryoku releasing a slight tired sigh.
"There is nothing to worry about with me, my body got used to everything thanks to my lack of feelings and everything I do is already an everyday thing, but I can't or don't want to imagine how horrible it would be for an ordinary person" said Doryoku still with an explanatory tone and making Oboro quite relax.
"Oboro, life is very short and good to think about failing at all times, I realized a long time ago, it is useless to think ahead when you always live in the present and worry will not do you any good, so I recommend you simply return the blows that life gives you when they arrive" Doryoku said with a slight smile while Oboro thought about his entire speech.
"That was too much bro, my is brain melted" said Oboro a little sore from so much philosophy and information causing Doryoku to have a vein in his forehead.
"Just don't worry about everything, that's my job" Doryoku said in the simplest way possible making Oboro understand instantly.
"Got it! And the first thing will be to get that chop off the ceiling" said Oboro quite determinedly as he made a cloud spatula.
"You still have your shirt backwards" Doryoku said pointing to Oboro while he was changing targets.
"The first thing will be to adjust my shirt" said Oboro this time with an idiotic smile making both of them laugh a little because of the stupidity of the moment.
And with this strange visit, everything was ready for the second internships

It's time of the author news.
I'm not a fan of writing at the end of a chapter because it ruins the immersion something I already explained, but I had a good idea! And the explanation does not fit in the author's notes.
You see, normally I have no idea what to put in the author's notes so I had an idea, a so-called 'Novice Author's Diary' in which I will basically narrate the experiences writing as an author, for sure it will at least be interesting to read to know how it is like be a writer, although it is not that I am a professional but it works.
And that's it actually, whenever I can I'll leave a note so... Have a nice day.
