A young woman who appeared to be in her early twenties walked through the long corridors of the magnificent White Palace.
The palace itself was a masterpiece. Its vast halls were lined with elegant pillars carved from radiant stone, while statues of ancient heroes and celestial beings stood proudly along the walls. Outside the open arches, lush gardens stretched endlessly, their rivers and trees bathed in a soft, pure light that made the entire place feel almost sacred.
Yet the girl did not glance left or right to admire the beauty of the statues.
She did not slow down to breathe in the clear and refreshing air of the gardens.
In truth, she herself seemed more beautiful and pure than the scenery surrounding her.
Instead, she continued forward with a troubled expression.
