Amon feels nostalgic as he walks on the same street he walked on when he was just a mortal, and now that he is no longer one, everything feels so weird.
Things that he had never noticed before, he has now become very aware of, like life itself. It's so vibrant and ever-present all around him.
In the air, under the ground, even the air feels richer.
These were the things he never bothered noticing before.
Amon walks on the path that's made naturally through people walking on it over and over again, killing any vegetation that could have flourished if not for the constant exposure to feet.
This is the situation for most of the roads during this time period.
Amon takes this path to enter the main city. His house, or should we call it a hut, was on the edge of the city where things were cheap. He remembered buying his small house for 2 copper pieces.
