After constantly being a hurdle in each other's path, Haley and Beverly hate each other, so seeing Beverly succeed pissed her off more than anything.
She didn't believe Beverly was better than her in any way, whether it was looks or talent. Haley believed she was much better in every aspect. So seeing Beverly ahead of her just because she got lucky, pissed Haley off to the core.
His eyes drifted around when it suddenly fell on a piece of paper and a card attached to it.
Curious, she walks up to it and picks it up. She reads the note, and her hands start shaking with excitement.
[You did well. Here's a phone number. Call it and give him the name on this card. Whatever you are looking for, you can have it,] the note reads.
Haley looks at the note and back at the sleeping Beverly. 'This should have been mine, so I am taking it with me,' Haley thinks, pockets the note and the card, and leaves Amon's room without being noticed.
