The next morning, Sin picked up Nojiko in his arms, much to her glee, and Nami did the same with Vivi as she spread her wings and took off to the sky.
Pascia, however, was very nervous because her Captain had ordered her to create Paper Wings and fly all the way with them to Arabasta, and she knew she was not as fast as them. She would undoubtedly hold them back.
Grount stayed back with Hiyori, and so did Conis and Raki, who were training under Gan Fall and other Sky Guardians now.
Rebecca wanted to come along, but after Sin promised her that he would come to pick her up to take her to Water 7, she obediently stayed behind.
After sharing a kiss with Hiyori, which made Nojiko, who was in his arms, blush, he took off and waited for Pascia to come up in the sky.
"This is training for you, so, take this seriously." He said to her, and the girl determinedly nodded to him.
Unbeknownst to Nami, it was training for her as well.
She probably thought that they would reach Arabasta in under half an hour, but with Pascia with them, they had to fly for nearly six hours before they landed on the rooftop garden of the Alubarna Palace.
And even though she was faring well, thanks to the ridiculous boost of physical prowess that her Devil Fruit granted her, it was not the same for Pascia.
The purple-haired girl was swaying on her feet, feeling dizzy, and was on the verge of exhaustion. It had only been a day since she gained these powers, and she had a long way to go to truly understand the limits. However, these six hours taught her more than she had learned all day yesterday, and perhaps would habe learned in the coming months.
After letting her catch some breath, everyone moved towards the entrance.
The guards who saw them bowed their way before one rushed to inform the King about their arrival, and as soon as they stopped in the hallway, they found Cobra briskly walking over to them.
"Papa!!" The little Princess ran up to him and jumped up in his arms.
Nami, Nojiko, and Pascia brightly smiled when they saw how happy the two of them were to see each other again.
However, their attention was soon on the super spot-bellied duck called Karoo, who was Vivi's pet.
They greeted the King and then started playing around with it, soon running off with Vivi down the hallway to her room.
Their antics made Cobra sigh, and the guards behind him grinned.
When Cobra smiled his way, Sin walked over to the man, shardd a hug, and then the two took a walk around the Palace.
He ordered the guards to stay several paces behind, giving them some privacy.
"She is happy."
"Yes. I will leave the details of her adventures to her. I am sure she would love to tell you all about them."
The Nefertari laughed at his words and also felt grateful in his heart.
Seeing his child brimming with such happiness, he was glad he had allowed her to stay with Nami and the girls close to her age.
With Sin and others, she was safer than in Arabasta Kingdom, and it really did take away a lot of his worries.
He, however, found it very hard on some days as he missed her a lot, but it was a sacrifice he was willing to make.
"Do you have any plans of having more kids?"
"I don't want there to be any complications when Vivi ascends the throne." He shook his head and sighed.
"That's not the only reason, is it?"
"I owe it to Titi. She was by my side all my life, but I was..." He sadly whispered. "She was my only Queen, and she will remain the only mother of my Children."
"Then slow down a little. You are overexerting yourself in the arms of your harem."
At his words, Cobra's face turned red, but he dared not shout at him like he would have at anyone else.
"You are weak, and your body can not handle such exertion. I am afraid you will be in a wheelchair by the time you hit your fifties."
"You don't have to say it again."
Sin smirked at his words.
"Your sister is in Arabasta. She is exploring the ruins."
"I am aware." He said and turned to look down towards the courtyard, where four boys and a girl, all around Vivi's age, were training under Brahm.
He was familiar with one of the boys, who was named Koza.
"The girl is from Milas, a village near Yuba. The tall and muscular kid is Segem's son, Hator. The dark-pink-haired boy is Erik, he is from Suiren. You already know about Koza and the last kid is named Camus, he is from Ido," Cobra informed him. "They were all deemed to possess the potential of becoming capable fighters."
"Even a block of wood can be sharpened and turned into a deadly weapon," he smiled. "Hator and Erik would indeed become just as strong as Koza, if not more. The other two will have to work harder than the rest to stay on the same level. However, the real two treasures are in the other courtyard."
At his words, the King smiled and nodded his head.
"We found them on our way back to Arabasta. They were in the sea, on top of a raft, and one of them was unconscious..."
The two walked over to the other balcony, and Sin watched the two boys, one of whom was around eighteen years old, and the other was around fourteen.
Both of them were battling against Hyota and Barrel, and he could tell that they had strong willpower.
The two seemed to be possessed by something, and they were pushing themselves beyond their limits.
"Have they pledged their lives to you?"
"The older one has, but not the younger. They want to grow stronger to avenge their Hometown and Island, where everyone else was killed by two Rouge Marines turned Pirates..." Cobra gave him some more details about what happened on Elena, a famous Shipyard on a small island called Arrow Island, which was located to the north of Arabasta.
Sin frowned as he stared at the two boys, the older of whom was called Jean Ango, and the younger was called Bascud Shuraiya.
He teleported right in between the two Tsumegiri Guards and the two kids, and the guards immediately bowed to him.
As for the two boys, they were stunned to see him, having recognised him as one of the Warlords of the Seas.
"I hate treacherous people, and you are brimming with insincerity." He bluntly said to the younger boy, who fearfully trembled at his words.
"I..."
"You don't want to stay here, but you would take advantage of a good King, who saved your lives, brought you to his home, and is willing to spend a lot of train you. He even assigned two of the Tsumegiri Guards to train you when they could very well spend that time training themselves." He narrowed his eyes. "Tell me, boy, what does the King owe you?"
"Your Highness..." The other boy tried to speak on his behalf, but one simple glance shut him up.
A terrifying pressure weighed on the younger boy, whose body kept trembling in fear.
"Leave if you are not sincere enough. Don't take advantage of the Arabasta Kingdom."
"I can't..." Shuraiya clenched his fist and failed to hold back his tears.
"Why?"
"I need to grow stronger to avenge my family and friends..."
"You can grow stronger on your own. Why do you want to take advantage of the Arabasta Kingdom?"
"I will pay them back..."
Sin chuckled at his words.
"Do you know that Tsumegiri Guards are only supposed to train the future Royal Guards of the Kingdom? Why are you wasting their time?"
He lowered his head and shed some more tears.
Shuraiya flinched when Sin placed his hand on his head and gently ruffled his hair.
"I know you want nothing more than to kill the people who took everything from you, but insincerity will ruin you. Those Marines were not loyal. They took advantage of the Marines, gained strength, defected,.not for the good reasons, and are now pirates who destroyed your home. Why do you want to be like them?"
His words froze the boy, and even the older one, and forced the two of them to think.
"What should I do..."
"Don't become a scum." He straightforwardly said. "As for the ones who destroyed your home, I will find them."
At his words, both surprisedly raised their heads and looked at him in hope.
"I will bring you Gasparade and Jigra's heads, but you will have to make a promise to me first."
"Anything!"
Sin smiled at them.
"The two of you will forever remain loyal to the Arabasta Kingdom. You will never betray your King."
"I have already pledged my life," said Jean Ango, and lowered his eyes in shame when Sin looked into them.
"You will take your vows again. Right now, and with sincerity."
"You will kill them if I pledge my life to King Cobra?" Shuraiya asked, and little hesitant.
"I take my promises very seriously." He lightly said, and the boy immediately turned to look towards Cobra, who was coming downstairs, and prostrated to him.
Jean Ango did the same, and as they started taking their Vows, Sin disappeared.
He came back a few minutes later, and showed two Devil Fruits to the boys.
"Toga Toga no Mi, a Paramecia Type Devil Fruit. Grants the User the ability to create a Cactus, transform their body into a Cactus, and some very interesting powers related to them. It's very useful in a place like Sandy Island." He said as he lifted the green spiky fruit, which resembled a bunch of dates, and then lifted the other Devil Fruit. "And this is a Zoan Fruit. Sasori Sasori no Mi, Model: Deathstalker. This scorpion is known for its lethal venom, capable of killing and paralysing. The Fruit grants the typical boost in senses that Zoan Devil Fruits are known for. This one especially grants you the ability to sense vibrations in the air and also has regenerative properties, but some parts can never be regenerated. Study scorpions to understand their powers."
He smiled at the two kids.
"Interested in them? If you are not, then Cobra will find something else for you."
"I will take the Zoan." Shuraiya immediately said, still in shock that he was getting the chance to eat a Devil Fruit.
No one stopped him as he ate the fruit, and nearly threw up. Instead, both the Tsumegiri Guards laughed at seeing him suffer from the bad taste.
Jean Ango kept staring at the Cactus Devil Fruit, unsure if it was useful enough.
In the end, he stepped forward and ate it.
Sin smiled at his decision and curiously watched his hair turn into a Cactus.
"Oh, I forgot to mention. You can create cacti all over Arabasta with his Fruit, and create a link with them, able to keep eyes and ears everywhere without getting noticed."
His words stunned them all, and even Ango gaped.
Soon, the young man brimmed with excitement and started testing out his powers.
"That Fruit was too precious, Sin." Cobra sighed in his heart as they excused themselves and continued their walk.
"It's fine. Besides, its true potential can only be utilised in a place where cacti are naturally found. The boy is smart, and he will make good use of it."
"I will pay..."
"Sure. And I will never treat you as family again."
That shut Cobra up, and the two soon laughed when they saw the girls on the backs of the super spot-bellied ducks, racing in the garden.
