When Sin woke up a day later, he found himself lying in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar cabin.
Yawning, he pushed himself up and frowned as he found himself only wearing his battle-torn trousers.
He rolled his eyes as he saw a set of Marine Sailor Uniform, and after freshening up with the tub of water in the room, he changed his trousers but did not wear the shirt that had the Marine Symbol on its back.
Instead, he wrapped his golden sash around his waist, and then wrapped the two neckerchiefs around his ankles, on his lower shins, over his trousers.
He picked up Enma and Nidai Kitetsu and fastened them around his waist with Lightning Buckles, and then created more Lightning Buckles on his back and placed Duraakh and Shichiseiken there.
Leaving his torso above his navel bare, he walked out of the cabin and then found his way to the Main Deck.
When he came out, he smiled at the sunlight, took a deep breath, stretched his limbs, and gave the ladies on the vessel a good look at his broad and wiry physique.
They were anchored a little away from the Iron Paradise, near the docks, where Ragnus' main Warship was present.
It was gigantic, almost thirty metres longer than the Black Pearl, around 127 metres, and much larger too, with a lot of metalwork.
He grinned when he saw Yamato sitting on top of the tallest mast of their spoils of war, swinging her feet and enjoying a watermelon.
"Hey." He rushed to her side, and she beamed her warmest and brightest smile at him.
"Want some?" She offered the last piece of the fruit in her hand, and he patted her head and shook his own.
"Enjoy."
His eyes roamed over the island, which was undoubtedly a thing of beauty even though forty percent of it was in shambles or missing, bearing signs of battle that could make anyone's heart sink.
"Have you explored the ship yet?"
"Yes. Your Granny insisted on it, and so I had to accompany her." She then pouted. "She took some things from the Captain's Quarters, some files, other papers, including maps, and some Eternal Log Poses. Also the firearms and a lot of cannonballs. She also took away some stones. She called them Dyna Stones."
"Oh..."
"What's a Dyna Stone?"
"A weapon of Mass Destruction. A few of them, the size of the watermelon you just had, would be enough to destroy Drum Island and everything on it."
Her eyes widened at his words, and then she solemnly nodded her head.
"Some of Ragnus' crew members were not on the island. After you killed him, one of the Visual Den Den Mushi on the island saw us come at dawn, which showed the people around the world that the Warmonger was dead. Those War Pirates blew up some places in all four blue seas and also in the Grand Line in retaliation."
Her words stunned him, and then he furrowed his brows and sighed.
"Arabasta and Winterheim are safe."
He nodded to her, and then raised his head and stared at the beautiful sky.
"There's a lot of gold in the ship's treasury. Kujaku estimated it to be worth about two billion Berries. And a couple of Devil Fruits..."
Sin then toured the ship with her, checking the cargo, armoury, quarters, Captain's Quarters, nests, and finally the treasury.
Overall, he was quite satisfied with the gains.
"Mihawk left earlier in the morning after he took Kromm's Sword and a lot of wine from the island."
"No wine for us?"
"None left, and the rum and mead are very bad."
"I see."
"Sin, do you know which Devil Fruit this is?" She curiously asked as she stared at the white Devil Fruit, which was in the shape of a dragon fruit.
There was also another Devil Fruit, which was fig-shaped and black.
"You know about the other one?" He curiously asked.
"Yes. Kujaku told me it was Sasori Sasori no Mi, Model: Death Stalker. It's a Scorpion Zoan. I did not show her the other one."
"I see. This one is a Paramecia. Akari Akari no Mi. Turns the User into a glowing person. You can generate light from any part of your body to illuminate things and create light orbs as well. These orbs can also become hotter the brighter they are, with temperatures reaching up to a couple of hundred degrees."
"That's all?" She cutely tilted her head.
"Yup."
"That's boring."
"Could be fun for someone who desires such a power. You never know." He shrugged. "Not all Paramecia are battle-oriented, and with this Devil Fruit, a single person can keep an entire city illuminated and even warm."
Yamato then lost herself in her thoughts and walked out on the Main Deck of the Apocalypse, which now belonged to him.
It was a good ship, one of the finest in the world, inspired by the Marine Battleships used for Buster Call, and Ragnus had used his Metal Logia Powers to create a variety of different metals to work with the wood. There was also Seastone lining at the bottom. It also had paddle wheels and propellers like the Black Pearl, made out of special metals but not gold, which responded to the Warmonger's Powers and worked at his will.
Luckily, everything was connected to the helm, which was also made out of metal, and Sin had checked and found that he could control the paddles and propellers with his electric powers. It made things very easy for him and was something that elated him.
"Let's go." He suddenly said, itching to steer this ship, and Yamato looked at him in surprise.
"Now?"
"Yup." He grabbed her waist and teleported next to the windlass. "Pull the anchors up."
Sin then quickly moved to the helm, grabbed it, and connected himself to the ship's paddles and propellers.
As soon as Yamato lifted the anchors, he controlled the ship and expertly steered it back, then changed its direction with an ease that stunned the Marines.
After checking the direction of his sister with the vivre card, he opened the sails as the wind was in their favour, and then steered the ship away.
"This is awesome!!!" Yamato excitedly rushed up to him, impressed by the speed, and he grinned at her.
"Want to steer it for a while? I will go say goodbye to Granny."
"Yes!"
The Oni Girl excitedly took the helm and frowned when the ship suddenly slowed down.
Sin, however, quickly teleported to the island, appearing next to Tsuru, who was standing with Kujaku, Hina, and Simca.
"Goodbye, Granny." He planted a kiss on her cheek and grinned at the three girls before stepping away.
"Wait! Take me with you. I am returning to my duty in Arabasta."
"I am not going to Arabasta." He shook his head at Simca. "Wait for me in Winterheim. We will head together to the Reverie."
"Okay." She nodded to him, and he caught Kujaku by surprise as he stole a kiss and escaped before she could use her Shatter Punch on him.
Her face had gone red in anger, and Hina's face was red in a furious blush as if she was the one who had been kissed.
"Pervert." The Pinkhead commented, and Simca laughed.
At their antics, Tsuru just sighed and forced the three of them to focus on the tasks at hand.
When Sin returned to Yamato's side, the Oni Girl asked him to make the ship go faster, and he accepted her request and also tested the limits of the ship.
It was almost as fast as the Black Pearl in speed if he was steering it, but without him, only half as fast. But then again, the Black Pearl was likely the fastest ship on the seas, so it was unfair to compare them in that regard.
At the speed they were going, they covered over nine hundred nautical miles in a little over twenty hours, which included a break of less than five hours when they had their meal and took a nap. They arrived at a moderate Summer Island in the morning, where the Black Pearl was anchored.
As soon as they closed in, Bonney flew over to their ship, and she excitedly started looking around after she checked that Sin and Yamato were fine.
When they anchored, Sin teleported to the Black Pearl and shared a long hug with his little sister.
There were four Fishmen onboard as well, and he recognised them at a glance. Three were ladies, triplets, half-human, who were called Rubis, Shaphir, and Emeraude. And the teal-skinned Hammerhead Shark Fish-man, standing over ten feet in height, who was called Gad.
As soon as he looked their way, all four of them knelt down, and their bodies quivered with emotion.
"Thank you..." One of the girls held back her tears and said, and only she knew how grateful she was that he had saved them not just from the War Pirates but also from the Marines.
"You would have been safe on that ship." He sighed and gently said.
"Gad is Hachi's friend. When he heard from a Marine that we had Hachi on our crew, he and the girls jumped off the vessel and chased after us." Bepo grinned.
"Is that so?" He smiled, and watched the Fish-man nod his head.
"Yes." He said and then his body trembled again. "We wish to join your crew. Please... let me join you!"
Sin kept staring at him for a good few minutes, and when he glanced around, he saw his sister smiling at him.
"Fine. You are welcome, and as for your three lovers..." The triplets blushed at his words a little, and became very anxious. "They can join too, on the promise that they will be responsible for keeping the ship clean, except for the Male Quarters and places they are not allowed to go. And that they will train just as hard as you."
"We promise!" All three ladies excitedly promised, and they all laughed at their enthusiasm.
Sin also thanked the two doctors for their work during the war, and then told his crew about Apocalypse.
The crew soon got busy with their exploration of the new ship, the first ship of their fleet, and he took a bath and changed into a new outfit.
Thankfully, he had left his coat behind before heading into battle, or it would have been ruined as well.
Sin walked into the cells, where the Lunarians were being kept. They were all still three or four years old, and acting very obedient, and by the looks of things, they had been fed well as everyone was relaxed.
He spoke to a few of them and then checked up on the prisoners.
Raka was missing.
Both Bach and Jacko were still in their cells, fast unconscious, and it meant that the Cannibal had already been killed.
Wani Wani no Mi, Model: Deinosuchus was a pineapple Devil Fruit, the island they were anchored at likely had fine pineapples, and his mind soon clicked as to where they were.
This was Papanapple Island.
When he came out on the Main Deck, Bonney and the rest had finished their tour, and they were heading out to fill up their food supplies and to find the Devil Fruit.
"Just focus on the food supplies. I will find the pineapple." He told the crew, who happily nodded to him since finding it was going to be a pain for them.
Sin, utilising his Lightning Speed, started searching all the pineapple trees on the island one by one, and managed to find the Devil Fruit within half an hour.
He then returned to the ship, entered the Captain's Quarters to store it, and then picked up the Log Pose to Little Garden.
Bonney raised her brow at him when she saw him carrying Jacko.
"I am heading to Little Garden."
"Take Lily with you."
He nodded to her and teleported to the side of the Giantess, who happily jumped up on his shoulder even though he did not tell her where he was taking her.
The two then collected lots of rum and mead from the Apocalypse, and Lily minimised everything and stored it away in a chest.
And when they met Dorry and Brogy later that day, who had just finished their first battle of the day, Sin left her to chat with the two Giants and started searching for Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Titanoboa.
It took him nearly two hours to find the lime Devil Fruit, and he was glad he found it because he nearly thought that he had lost it.
When he joined the Giants, they were enjoying large barrels of rum and mead, and Lily was happily listening to their stories.
Seeing how excited she was, they ended up staying on the island for the night and left the next day.
And it was on that day that the Captain of the Blackstar Pirates had a very serious chat with the Lunarians, which decided their next destination.
