Cutting away history doesn't seem very useful at first glance, but if during that period you obtained a rare Technique Spirit, losing that history would mean your Technique Spirit would suddenly sever its connection with you, not to mention any memory, magic power, and experience as well.
The most tragic incident Felix had heard of was a Two-winged Mage being cut away from a day by the Time Blade, and on that very day, he happened upon a Vortex adventure. As a result, his magic power was instantly reduced, his silver Void Wings inexplicably halved, and there was no way to remedy it.
A Time Blade that can cut away a day is already dangerous, but a continuously existing Time Blade curse is simply unimaginable.
