He still was not in the mood to talk after that. He was just not in a good mood even after dinner.
He did not even go to bed and decided to sleep on the sofa. But he was tossing and turning.
He missed her warmth. He has been used to sleeping with her that just spending the night alone seems impossible.
When he opened his eyes, he was shocked to see her dressed in a white silky nightie.
He gulped upon seeing her. She has some ropes and other things in her hand.
She sat on the chair opposite him. She placed her things on the table and forced a smile.
"Hey," she said, breaking the awkward silence with an even more awkward greeting.
"Hey," he said, his eyes going back to her things.
"I could not sleep," she said, not giving up on talking.
"Why?" he asked, silently begging the heavens that she was missing him too.
"I'm used to sharing the bed with you," she said, making his heart feel lighter.
