The other seven Celestials didn't understand what had just been said, but the six that did needed no explanation. They stared at Shumi, now believing her more than ever to be the Moon Goddess.
"We are prepared," the snake matriarch said quickly. "Whenever you need us, please just let us know."
"Not yet," Shumi said. "But the time will come soon."
The other beasts nodded.
The White Tiger patriarch looked toward Alex. "Should we wait for you?" he asked. "That is if you intend to leave with us."
"Do as you please," Alex said.
The patriarch nodded. "And what of Jingshen and Pearl?" he asked.
Alex paused for a moment before answering. "They should be at the Tip of the Third Claw, in a city by the name of Blackland."
The patriarch nodded before turning around and leaving. The rest said their farewells and left as well.
