Alex checked through each ingredient at least 3 times in order to make sure he wasn't going mad. He checked through the leaves, the roots, the barks, the flowers, and everything else that was around him, and yet he knew the name of not a single one of them.
"How… how can this be?" Alex thought.
The possibility of this happening was there. It had always been there in the back of his mind ever since he became an Immortal and learned about the White Canvas flower that he didn't immediately recognize.
But he had yet to find another such ingredient in all the time, and part of that was in an alchemy competition. So Alex could be reasonably certain that he was likely not going to find another ingredient that the Alchemy God did not know about.
And yet, there it was, right in front of him.
Not just one, but more than a dozen.
"What is going on?"
