For over 2 months, Alex's days were spent with not many changes. During the day, he would go out to hunt beasts with Sunhearts. And during the night, he would train his Intent.
He still hadn't gotten the chance to cultivate as he didn't feel safe just yet. He also didn't want questions on how he was even cultivating in the first place since he shouldn't have been able to.
So, he had been holding back, at least until he made his way to the Endless Night sect.
But then, he got the news.
"They don't want me?" Alex asked.
"I'm afraid our Grand Elder has made the decision, and we cannot change his mind," the man told Alex. "If you wish, you could take the entrance test in a decade and try to join that way."
Alex stared with a blank expression. Was there even a point to that anymore? He couldn't become a disciple, but simply arriving at the sect wasn't going to help him since he was rejected already.
"Were my Alchemy skills mentioned?" Alex asked.
