After leaving Yuewen Group, Xu Fang took out his phone and called Feng Wen.
The call connected quickly, and Feng Wen's rich voice came through. "Hello, Xu Fang?"
"I'm done here. I'm heading back to your place now," Xu Fang said with a laugh.
"So soon? Did it not go well?" Feng Wen asked, surprised.
"It's not that. Today wasn't a good time to talk, so I'm going back tomorrow. If I can't close the deal then, it's probably a lost cause," Xu Fang explained briefly.
Realizing what he meant, Feng Wen lowered her voice. "I'll head back now, then. Let's meet for dinner at that Shandong Cuisine Restaurant near the entrance to the complex."
"Okay," Xu Fang replied.
Feng Wen finished work early that day. After having dinner with Xu Fang, it was only just 6:00 p.m. When they returned, they both freshened up. A single look was all it took to understand each other's intentions; no words were needed.
