After the two finished their discussion, Patia drafted a further contract for them. Adolf glanced over it briefly before signing his name. Once signed, a bank draft worth two hundred thousand Gold Coins was taken out, and Adolf specifically added, "If it's not enough, let me know, and I'll add more."
"No," Jones said hastily, holding the draft firmly. "It won't exceed the budget. I won't let it go over."
"It's best if it doesn't exceed, but even if it does, it's not a problem," Adolf replied with a smile. "For me, this is just an experiment. Experiments always come with risks, and I'm prepared to take those risks."
Saying this, Adolf turned to look at Adelle. "Young Master Adelle, I have other matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave."
"You're leaving so soon?" Jones asked.
"Yes, I have other things to handle. Besides, isn't our business here concluded?"
"If you're busy, go ahead," Adelle nodded and said. "I'll take Jones to look around the Chamber of Commerce."
