Luna turned to see Mira bounding up beside her—cheerful as always, her auburn curls bouncing behind her and her oversized tote bag threatening to knock over a few nearby students.
"I didn't think you'd show," Mira grinned. "I figured you'd finally run off with some secret boyfriend and abandon us common folk."
Luna laughed. "Not quite. Just... had a long morning."
Mira raised an eyebrow. "You? A long morning? That sounds suspiciously unlike you. Want to spill?"
Luna shrugged with a teasing smile. "Maybe later. You'll survive the mystery for now."
"Rude," Mira said, linking arms with her. "Anyway, today's lecture better not be another three-hour drone session or I swear I'm going to start sketching faces on my notebook again. Last time I accidentally turned the professor into a goat."
Luna snorted. "I remember that. You got extra credit for 'creativity.'"
"Exactly. That's what I bring to the table—chaos and charm."
