In the coziness of the blankets, Mengmeng opened her sleepy eyes and nodded instinctively, "Sure, I couldn't ask for anything better!"
Gu Zhihan laughed, stroked her head, and continued, "Then you sleep a bit more, it's still early for the exam. I'm going to make breakfast for you."
"Mmm!" Mengmeng snuggled deeper into the blankets as she responded.
Gu Zhihan got straight out of bed, stuffed his feet into gray slippers, casually pulled on a coat, and headed downstairs.
Once in the kitchen, he began cooking with practiced ease, and anyone with eyes could tell he was used to this sort of thing.
Before long, the smell of food wafted through the air.
Gu Zhihan untied the cotton and linen apron he had been wearing, went upstairs, and pushed open the bedroom door, "Get up and eat, silly girl."
"You're the silly one!" Mengmeng emerged from the blankets grumpily, "I'm going to take an exam today, can you please stop calling me silly? What if you jinx me?"
