"Does it look like it?" Yu Xiuzhun stepped forward, pulling her into his arms, his cold and fierce eyes looking down at her.
Before Ye Mingmei could react, he picked her up and strode back to the bedroom.
Ye Mingmei tried to push him away, but Yu Xiuzhun only held her tighter.
"Be good, don't make me angry. The dark room is very dark, you'll be scared." Yu Xiuzhun spoke carelessly, his voice haunting, sending chills down her spine.
Ye Mingmei's body stiffened, her hand against his chest froze suddenly.
Yu Xiuzhun lowered his head and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"It's late, you should sleep." His arm wrapped around her waist, his hand resting on her flat stomach, holding her tightly.
Soon, the sound of steady breathing echoed in her ears.
Ye Mingmei lay with open eyes, turning to look at his handsome face, unable to sleep for the entire night.
