"The taste is not bad." She put down the cup and said happily.
The assistant breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good. I couldn't find a coffee machine in the lounge, so I had to brew a cup using the available coffee powder. I was worried you wouldn't be used to this instant coffee."
Chu Xi didn't know she was drinking instant coffee and frowned disdainfully. But she was in a good mood and wasn't upset about accidentally drinking cheap coffee. She turned to ask, "I told you to wait at the door. Haven't they arrived yet?"
The assistant quickly replied, "You told me to wait outside, but I haven't seen the person you mentioned."
"How could that be? They should have been here by now." Chu Xi's expression remained calm as she looked up, "Could it be that you stepped away and missed them?"
