Hey everyone! I know it's been awhile since i last updated this story, no worries though as i'm back now. This will be the Finale of this mini arc before the story of Volume 3 of the RWBY story begins. I will probably be changing a few things, compared to the original story I wrote just to make the story flow better. And there are a number of things I haven't touched on that have been hinted at for awhile such as Tarro training the saiyan characters, the extent of Yang and Turuk's relationship or the development of their pairing, what Aiko will do, and what this other part of Nova is. Those questions will be answered as we dive into RWBY Volume 3's portion of the story. For now though..., here's the Finale of the Tenkawa arc!

Visuals: Stills of each character walking, before the song picks up with the split screen for each group. When the song picks up, it transitions to each member fighting off the soldiers while Nova and Turuk fight Turles. The song then ends as the pair of saiyan brothers charge Turles.
Chapter 22: Lost Heritage V (Finale): Primal Rage
Nova and Turles stood across from each other, glaring at one another with their Ki flaring to life around them. Nova really didn't like being made to look like a fool. The way in which this evil scumbag in front of him did so.., it really ticked him off! He was done playing around, this time: Turles would pay for what he did! While, he was glaring at him, Nova had to admit that some part of him was actually excited to fight this guy for real. He could just chalk that up to being a saiyan.., if that's truly what he was.
However, thinking about it... He didn't truly know all that much about what a saiyan really was. That was something he'd have to ask his birth parents or Tarro about at some point after they returned to Beacon. But first, He'd have to defeat this guy. The ground shook violently as both of the Saiyan's Ki burst to life around them like a pair of bright flaming auras. The tension was thick as lightning flashed and thunder sounded in the sky above the two combatants. Nova and Turles both had enough of the silence and rocketed towards each other, their fists reared back in preparation to strike.

*Insert Dragon Ball Super Ost: A Fearsome Foe*
They began to briefly match each other as they exchanged blows, the air shaking with each blow that landed. The shockwave from the exchange of blows between Nova and Turles began to generate high winds that forced the others to use their Aura to stay planted in the ground, or to hang onto something sturdy enough not to be blown away by the high winds from the fight above them. Blake and the others crossed their arms to shield themselves from the high winds as they kept an eye on Nova's fight with Turles. The Dark teen was at a disadvantage, at first. This was only because he wasn't used to fighting anyone nearly as strong as Turles was at the moment.
Jaune looked towards the others in concern. He knew Nova was pretty strong but... this was getting a little out of hand. They were all basically waiting on Nova to defeat this guy because that was the only way any of them were getting out of this alive.
"Do you think he can do it? You think he can win, Pyrrha?,"Jaune asked.
Pyrrha looked at him and nodded.
"I have to believe that he can, Jaune. Brcause the only way any of us can leave here is for Nova to defeat this man named Turles.,"She replied.
Jaune nodded.
"Well if you believe that he can win Pyrrha, then I believe he can too.,"Jaune said smiling.
Pyrrha smiled towards the blonde.
"Thank you, Jaune.," she said.
The group then refocused on the fight. Blake was starting to get a little worried about her brother as she'd never seen this side of her brother Nova before. Aiko put her hand onto the cat faunus's shoulder making Blake look at her.
"Blake, the c-captian er... I mean N-Nova will be alright.,"Aiko said encouraging her.
The fellow faunus smiled at the saiyan-wolf faunus hybrid, she appreciated aiko encouraging her. Aiko would technically be her cousin since she was Nova and Turuk's adoptive sister. A thought she found happiness in as she watched her brother fight off Turles. The cat faunus clasped her hands to her chest in concern.
"Please Nova... Be careful! You can beat him, I know it!," Blake thought.
After awhile of fighting Turles, Nova was now able to predict his patterns of attack and was able to push the battle back to even again. During the ensuing exchange of blows, the evil saiyan was was surprised as Nova had suddenly vanished just before he could find a way past the dark teen's defenses.
"What the-? Where'd he go?!"Turles asked in panic as he searched for him.
Nova appeared above him sommersaulting in the air before land a surprise missile kick to his face, sending the evil saiyan spiraling through several of the ruined buildings before crash landing in the center of the abandoned village. he was now inside of a crater with half of his armor being burned off due to the friction from his fall. The impact was akin to a bomb going off, due to the ground shaking even more than it had previously. The villain flipped to his feet as he re entered into a the stance he had at the battle's outset.
Some of the other teens were shocked at this, most noteably Team JNPR.
"What the heck?,"Nora asked surprised.
"How.. is he not dead after that?,"Jaune asked in surprise.
"I admit even I'm surprised that Turles is still up after that.,"Pyrrha said.
Ren just stared wide eyed.
Weiss was in shock at seeing how Turles just got up like it was nothing.
The villain wipe the blood from his mouth and smiled towards the dark teen. He knew it wouldn't be easy to defeat the dark saiyan teen, but he never imagined that he'd be anywhere near this strong. Defeating this saiyan in a prolonged battle was certinly going to be hard enough because he seemed to be getting stronger as the battle wore on. The villainous saiyan was now only just realizing how tall of an order that truly was.
Nova seemed to be ready for another round against the evil saiyan, both Saiyans walked forward before they stood across from each other. They then began to circle each other, like they were sizing each other up. They were looking for any weaknesses their opponent may have as they sized up one another from a short distance away.
*end ost*
"Heh. I have to say kid, I'm impressed that you've not only lasted this long.. but you've managed to put me at a major disadvantage in this fight. You're a lot stronger than I gave you credit for. I do have to wonder though... just how much more power are you really hiding in there, saiyan?,"Turles said.
Nova raised an eyebrow as he spoke.
"Why do you keep calling me that?"He asked.
"huh?,"Turles asked.
"You keep on calling me a saiyan, but I have no idea of what a saiyan even is exactly! So maybe you could tell me... What the heck even is a saiyan?,"He replied.
Turles raised an eyebrow and sweatdropped a bit.
"You're kidding... right? You mean to tell me that you grew up your entire life without even being made aware of what you are?,"Turles asked.
"Just answer the question, Turles. I'm not really in the mood for any of your twisted games..,"Nova answered.
Turles sighed in amusement as then began to explain in detail what the saiyans really were.
"Oh, very well then. Allow me to reveal the truth of what you are, kid."Turles said as he began to explain.
The two stopped circling each other as Turles began to explain in detail what saiyans were and why it applied to Nova and some of his friends. Ruby and the others were just close enough to hear the conversation as they were in earshot of the two combatants, so they listened in.
"To start off with, the Saiyans were an alien warrior raace from outside of this realm. They were from another world, one foreign to this one. That world was named Planet Vegeta, the home of the Saiyan race. Their home planet was named after their king, Vegeta III. Saiyans always prided themselves on being the strongest warriors in the universe, bar none. They took great joy in that fact. However.. that all changed 40 years ago... They encountered a race that theey could not best in battle, no matter how hard they tried. This race had the same amount of potential in battle as they did. they were known as.. Arcosians or... "Frost Demons" in simpler terms. And because they lost in battle, the saiyan race became their subordinates.. their slaves if you will.,"Turles said in explanation before he continued.
Seeing that he had the Saiyan's attention, he continued with his explanation.
"They called them their personal mercenaries, but the Saiyans weren't fools. They knew... they were no more than slaves and convenient little playthings to the Arcosians. Though through the Saiyans time of subservience to the Arcosians, one thing became clear to the new leader of the Planet Trade Organization (PTO). The Saiyans were getting stronger with every deadly fight that they were thrust into. This was kind of a reward for the Saiyans as it kept their fighting edge strong. The Saiyans would be in charge of purging planets, while the Arcosians would just rake in the cash and benefits of the Saiyans hard work by selling the purged planets. This didn't sit well with the Saiyans, thus why the Saiyans and the arcosians never liked each other. This was especially true when, Glacial, the son of Emperor Frost took over the PTO for his father. Glacial was becoming afraid of them. Word had reached his ears about a legendary warrior of the saiyan race known as a Super Saiyan. He'd also heard tales of the Super Saiyan God and its immense power. Now as to why there aren't many of us Saiyans around anymore... That's because Glacial was so bothered by the legend of the Super Saiyan and the Super Saiyan God, he took them out in the most effective way he knew how to: By destroying Planet Vegeta with the Saiyans still on it by himself. Of course, you know from experience that not eevery single saiyan was taken out when Glacial blew up the planet. Some survived. There were Bardock's two brats: Kakkarot and Raditz, There was Prince Vegeta IV, General Nappa, and of course yourself, your brother, the three girls over there and...That one who is becoming a Saiyan it seems. So there you have it, kid. You're a boneafide Saiyan warrior!,"Turles explained.
"So.. I'm... a ... Saiyan?,"Nova said in shock.
Turles couldn't help but to chuckle.
"Oh, this is rich! Did you actually believe you were a faunus this whole time? Please! Did you not even once think it was strange about how you and your brother were so much stronger than normal faunus kids your same age? Or.. why you could do things that they never could?," Turles laughed.
"I..."Nova said trailing off.
"Face it kid, you were born to subject worlds! Everything around you dies if you lose it...Especially, in your case!,"Turles said.
Nova looked at him curious.
"what do you mean by that?,"Nova asked.
Turles grinned.
"Let's just say that even among Saiyans, you're pretty special. No other saiyan has anywhere near your level of hidden power.,"Turles replied.
Nova grit his teeth and glared at Turles in defiance.
"NO! I don't believe that, not for a second!,"Nova snapped back.

*insert: Alphen's Theme (Tales of Arise Ost)*
Turles raised his eyebrow.
"Oh? Don't believe what: That you're a Saiyan?,"Turles asked smugly.
Nova shook his head.
"No, not that. Most of what you have said so far is true. It's made me realize that myself, Turuk, my cousins: Scarlett and Aiko, my partner Daikon, Yang, and even what my lover, Ruby, is becoming... It has made me realize that all of us aren't.. exactly normal, not anymore at least. What I refuse to believe is just because I'm a saiyan, i'm just supposed to subjegate people! I don't believe that for even a moment!,"Nova said with conviction.
"Really? Well then, what are you going to do with all of that poer you have?,"Turles scoffed.
Nova opened his hand into a palm before closing it as he stated his intent.
"I'm going to use my power for it was meant for: defending those who cannot defend themselves! I'll use my own power to save those in need, and help whoever I can! But most importantly... I'll use my power to protect those who are important to me! Because that's what a Huntsman does, that's what a Huntress does, above all: that's what a hero does!,"Nova said.
Ruby looked towards her boyfriend in awe. What he said resonated with something deep inside of her and she smiled. The silver eyed girl couldn't be any more proud to have someone like Nova as her boyfriend... no, as her lover.
"Nova...,"Ruby said looking on in awe.
Turles couldn't help but to cackle. He couldn't believe what he was hearing from the mouth of this young saiyan.
"Are you serious right now? Don't tell you actually believe all of this super hero crap that's coming from your mouth!,"turles said. "Cause if you do... I'll just have to crush that dream, right here and now!"
He then spotted Ruby and let an evil grin cross his face.
"Tell me... would you still believe in that Super Heroic nonsesnse if someone close to you met their end? Cause if you would, I'll have to test that resolve, boy! STARTING WITH HER! ,"Turles said.
Nova looked towards the villain and clenched his fist in anger. He wasn't about to let this villain have his way, he had to stop him. Turles laughed. He had fun so far, but he was sure the dark teenaged saiyan was still holding out on him and he was determined to bring that power out of him, no matter what it took.
"Well, how 'bout it Saiyan? Do you need me to try and kill your girlfriend over there again? You can be sure that this time, I won't miss. ,"Turles challenged.
Nova's bangs then shadowed his eyes as he literally shook in anger at Turles' Suggestion. No, anger wasn't the word for it.. What Nova was feeling was nothing short of rage towards the evil saiyan as a thick green aura then exploded around him.
"YOU..."
"Heh?,"Turles asked feigning deafness.
"LEAVE..."
"What's that? Ican't hear you!," Turles said mockingly.
"HER.."
Turles smirked back at the boy as he aimed an orb of ki that gathered in the palm of his hand towards Ruby. It was then, that something he did not expect took place.
"ALONE!", Nova roared as he suddenly rocketed towards Turles landing a hard blow to his gut, causing the ki orb to dissipate as his eyes widened in pain.

*Insert Dragon Ball Super Broly ost: Broly begins to battle*
Author's Note: this begins playing as Turles is taunting Nova just before their battle resumes
The next thing Turles knew after reeling from the fist to his gut, was that he was slammed by a hard kick to his face. But how was the kid suddenly there? He never even saw him move! One look at Nova's eyes told the whole story for Turles though. Nova was angry... very angry at him, he was done playing around and wanted nothing more than to obliterate Turles right here. The evil saiyan couldn't help but to smirk as he slipped into a stance before igniting his own ki to face the angry, powered up teenaged saiyan warrior. The fighters rocketed towards each other again, exhanging blows. But, it was clear from the start that Turles couldn't keep up with Nova now. The gap between their power had grown too large. Nova, now cloaked in an aura of green ki exchnged a few punches and some kicks with Turles before forcing him back and overpowering his defense as the elder saiyan was slammed into a mountain nearby. Both fighters raced out of the mountain as it collapsed to the ground soon after. Turles chuckled as he fought Nova, this was what he wanted from the kid: areal fight to the death like this!
"Heh heh heh! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Yes! That's it, Saiyan! You're getting better at this!,"Turles laughed in delight.
The two raced towards each other, creating shockwaves in the sky.
The others looked on , shocked at what they were seeing.
"Um.. Blake, you're sure that's the same Nova we all know?," Nora asked nervously.
Blake nodded as she watched the fight wide eyed.
"As.. far as I know, yes. Though.. I've never seen this side of Nova before. It's a little worrying.,"Blake answered.
Team JNPR & Team RWBY watched the fight in worry. They were afraid that maybe Turles had pushed Nova over the edge. They'd never seen him this angry before and to them, that was honestly a little frightening because they knew how kind of a person Nova really could be. This was a side of him none of them even realized was there. It was jarring because they were seeing Nova's more battle crazed side for the very first time. Ruby clenched her hands to her chest in worry, she was silently praying for her lover.
Back to the fight, Nova and Turles zipped around and traded blows with each other. Although Turles was more experienced in battle, one thing was clear to him: Nova was learning as he fought him. He'd studied how to use his power effectively, which is what was throwing Turles off guard and putting him on the defensive for most of the fight. Nova sent a kick towards Turles that connected, sending him skidding across the ground briefly. Turles had gotten to higher ground above Nova, he was pretty banged up from the scuffle they just had. However.... he had a trick up his sleeve that he doubted the kid knew about. The evil saiyan ate a spare fruit from the Tree that grew before crushing it, causing his power to skyrocket again and his wounds to heal. Nova gritted his teeth in frustration, that wasn't good. Turles looked down at the younger saiyan with a frown. Sure, he'd increased his power but.. Nova's power currently far overshadowed his. He sighed in resignation.
"You know kid... I think you're the only the 2nd person ever to push me to this point. I'd rather avoid using this, but it's become clear to me that you're much stronger than I'd first predicted. So... I've got no choice!,"Turles said before crouching.
He tightened his fist and started to yell, the ground shaking and lightning flashing as his hair floated upwards. A thin golden aura surrounded him before it began to expand. His eyes flashed in between black and a teal blue momentarily before becoming the solid teal blue. His hair became a solid green momentarily before his power exploded in a pillar of golden light. Nova widened his eyes as Turles now floated above him with spiky golden blonde hair and blue eyes, surrounded by a golden yellow aura.
"What the-?!," Yang said in suprise as she saw the transformation Turles underwent.
The others were surprised as well.
"Um... okay.. since when does mr evil scumbug have spiky blonde hair?," Ruby asked surprised.
Scarlett looked towards Ruby as the others saw the same thing Nova was seeing.
"So.. He changed his hair color, so what? Nova should still be able to defeat that evil villain!,"Weiss said.
Daikon, Scarlett, Aiko, and Turuk all nervously stared at the form Turles now took.
"I'm... not so sure about that, Weiss...,"Scarlett said nervously.
"Indeed. If that form is what I think it is... Our friend may be in some trouble now.,"Daikon added.
"Let's just hope, Nova can keep up with Turles now..,"Aiko said.
"Aiko's right. Let's support Nova by believing in him. It may have gotten alot harder for him, but.. I have a feeling that he haven't seen the full extent of my brother's power yet.. It's like, he's afraid to use it or...,"Turuk said before Scarlett finished his thought.
"That he's never had to use the full extent of his power before, right?,"Scarlett finished.
Turuk nodded as the others looked on.
"It may have just gotten alot more difficult for Nova to defeat him, but..,"Turuk started to say.
Ruby nodded and smiled.
"Nova can still win this! I believe in him!,"Ruby said finishing Turuk's thought.
Turles Chuckled at seeing Nova's reaction to his power.
"Well, saiyan.. what will you do now?,"Turles asked laughing.
Nova grit his teeth in anger before a determined look crossed his face. He rocketed towards Turles again, just as Turles did the same. Their fists clashed and kicks were exhanged before Turles headbutted the dark teen, sending him skidding back. Nova stood up and charged at him again, engaging the villain in close quarters. With the super saiyan aura blazing around him, Turles had the clear advantage thanks to the boost in power he received. The dark teen was forced onto the defensive side of the fight again.

Basically how the fight went, minus Paragus and Freeza being there lol. Replace Cheelai, Bulma, Whis, and Goku with Blake, An unconscious Yang, Scarlett, Aiko, Jaune, Weiss, Daikon, Ruby, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren. Nova is Broly in this fight and Turles is the replacement for Vegeta in this sense.
Nova charged at Turles again, attempting to hit him, but was beaten back every time. Wither from kicks and punches, or from getting ki blasted in the face: It didn't matter, he still wasn't making a dent in Turles's seemingly impenetrable defense. The teen ramped up his ki more and finally caught Turles off guard, hitting him hard in the stomach. The impact sent him crashing into another cliff. Nova followed him and kept on pressuring the other saiyan with powerful blows. Nova through a barrage of ki blasts at him, while in mid air, all of which were dodged as Turles tranformed into a super saiyan 2. Extending his hand, he threw multiple ki blasts towards the teen saiyan. A few hit him before he dodged the last one and flew at Turles again. The villain just boobed and weaved to dodge Nova's blows as they flew at high speeds before finally stopping.
The teen threw a powerful punch forward, only for it to be caught by Turles. The Saiyan smirked before Punching Nova hard, sending him crashing through several building and cliffs before he was plastered against another cliff.
"Is that all you have, Saiyan? You disappoint me.,"Turles said.
Turles flew towards where the dark saiyan was and aimed an open palm towards him.
"What a waste...,"Turles said firing a small beam of ki towards the teen. The beam destroyed the cliff, he was plastered into and thrust him into the small lake near the abandoned village. The others looked on in worry as Ruby cried out in concern from the teen.
"NOVA!!!,"Ruby cried out worried.
Turles just smirked before he started to turn his back. He turned back around a moment later, due to the ground shaking. Nova concentrared and accessed a new level of power he had not previously known as he yelled in the depths of the pond.

Play from 04:42 forward... That's how the rest of this fight plays out (Turles just taking on the role of Goku too)
A large golden beam then erupted from the center of the swirling water as Nova was revealed having green pupils while he yelled, unleashing more of his hidden power.
Turles chuckled as he guarded against the powerful, gale force winds that came forth.
"My my my, you just keep on surprising me saiyan! More! I want to see more of that fascinating power of yours ha ha ha ha ha he ha ha hee ha ha ha!,"Turles said laughing.
The others were wide eyed in shock. None were more shocked than Blake, of course. As his adoptive elder sister, Blake thought she knew the extent of Nova's power. Unfortunately she was being reminded that she knew very little of it. She'd never seen this side of Nova before, he was like caged beast that had just broken free of its bonds.
"Please tell us Blake, is this normal?!,"Weiss asked scared by what she was seeing.
"N-No! I've... never seen this side of Nova before! I don't know what's going on with him right now.,"Blake said.
Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Nora, Weiss, and even Ruby were wide eyed at the power they were seeing Nova display in this fight. This power wasn't normal, it went far beyond anything they'd ever seen before!
Nova was still screaming as he ascended, an even deeper green aura surrounding him as he came into eyesight of Turles. As his eyes faceed Turles, a green light pooled in front of his open mouth before whizzing past Turles taking out several chunks of the cliff behind them before the orb of ki exploded in the sky in a violent emerald green light. Turles was wide eyed as he saw this.
"What the-? If that hit the ground, who knows what kind of damage it could've caused..,"He thought sweating.
Turles rocketed towards Nova, throwing a hard punch to his face that the teen took like it was nothing. He glared down at the offending saiyan, angered before punching him away. He chased after the villain, missing on a few blows but eventually connecting on one that send Turles spiraling to the ground and into a crater. Nova landed on top of the cliff opposite of Turles and focused his power once more. Turles got up again and chuckled, this saiyan he fought was really something else! The others saw Turles get up again and were flabbergasted by it.
"What in Oum's name?! HOW?!,"Weiss screeched.
"I agree with Weiss.. HOW on Remnant can that guy still stand up after all that?!,"Jaune said shocked.
"It is rather curious, that's for sure.,"Blake added.
"You mean after taking that bad of a beating... that bad guy can STILL get up on his feet?,"Nora wondered aloud.
"It boggles the mind, certainly.,"Pyrrha concurred.
"That does beg a question though...,"Ren said trailing off.
"Yeah. Are these two even "normal" Faunus anymore?,"Ruby finished. "Clearly they're not. I heard one of these soldiers say that Nova and Turuk were something called... Saiyans.. I believe?"
The others raised curious eyebrows.
"Saiyans?" They all thought curious.
Ruby nodded.
"Yeah, that's what they've been referring to Nova,Turuk, Aiko, Scarlett, and Daikon as.,"She answered.
"You mean... they're not faunus like we thought?,"Jaune asked.
Ruby shrugged in confusion. She was just as confused as her friends were about it.
"No, I mean yes, but.. it's.. all very confusing. I'm not even sure if I understand it correctly.,"Ruby answered.
Back to the fight, Nova's forearms expanded and his chest increased in mass, along with his legs too. Ruby and the others looked towards Nova. Was he getting... bigger? Nova's hair floated upwards and spiked as he finished yelling. A green aura surrounded him as he slipped into a stance, ready to take on Turles once more. Turles rocketed towards Nova, the dark saiyan doing the same.

*Insert: Kakkarot vs Broly ost*
The two saiyans clashed fists before briefly trading blows. They were seen zipping around and disappearing briefly before Nova was able to slip past Turles's guard and shoott him with a ki blast at point blank range. This sent the evil saiyan flying back into another cliff where, Nova pursued him. The dark saiyan teen socked him hard inthe gut again, forcing him out of the cliff and into the open. The cliff exploded in a giant pillar of emerald green light as Nova growled and channeled his power even more. Turles and Nova went at each other again, damaging the landscape in the midst of their fight.
Blake was still shocked watching this.
"Nova.. where is this power coming from?,"She wondered worried.
Scarlett looked on and had a thought. The longer this fight went on, the more she had an idea of what kind of a saiyan her cousin was. Or rather... Who he was as a saiyan.
"You felt it too, didn't you Turuk?,"Scarlett asked.
Turuk nodded.
"Yeah... I knew my brother was different but... I never would have expected him to be hiding so much power..,"Turuk said.
Blake looked at them.
"Scarlett, what do you mean by that?,"Blake asked.
"I am rather curious as well. What did you mean by your statement earlier?,"Weiss asked.
The others looked to Scarlett as the red haired saiyan sighed.
"As this fight has gone on... Let's just say I've become aware of who Nova is.. as a saiyan.,"Scarlett answered.
"And what does that mean?,"Pyrrha asked.
"It means Nova is.. a bit more special than we thought. (looks towards Ruby) And you, Ruby are the key towards keeping my cousin sane."She said.
"Huh? (points to herself) m-me?,"Ruby asked surprised. "Why me though?"
"I think you know why. If Nova keeps going like this for much longer.. He's going to lose his mind. He'll become nothing but a wild beast. And you, Ruby, are the only one able to keep that beast in check.,"Scarlett explained. "He'll become a danger to himself and evrything around him if he isn't stopped."
The others looked at Scarlett surprised and worried.
"W-What are you saying?! And why are you saying that, Scarlett?!,"Blake responded worried.
Scarlett looked towards Blake with a saddened, yet serious expression on her face.
"I wasn't sure at first, but now I'm convinced of who Nova really is. Blake, your brother, Nova... I believe that he may be The Legendary Super Saiyan.,"Scarlett said.
The others widened their eyes in shock at this.
"The Legendary... Super Saiyan?,"Blake replied.
"Yes. A saiyan warrior who is born only once every thousand years and whose power is far beyond that of any other saiyan. His power isn't so easily contained. Nova's done well to contain it so far.. But as he grows, so does his power. If he can't control it then.. it may end up destroying him."Scarlett warned.
Ruby's eyes widened in worry.
"So.. you mean that N-Nova's going to die?!,"Ruby asked upset.
Scarlett nodded solemnly.
"But.. I don't want him to die! We only just became boyfriend and girlfriend!"Ruby said. "I.. don't want to lose anyone else important to me..."
"And he won't, Ruby! But only.. If you, his girlfriend can calm his mind permanently. If Nova can have his mind calm, he'll be able to control and even harness the raging power of the Legendary Super Saiyan within himself.,"Scarlett said.
The others then looked back to the fight.
Turles was somehow able to freeze Nova with some technique he had, the dark saiyan struggling against it.
"I'll admit, you're strong boy! No one has ever pushed me this far before.. It's over now though.,"Turles said as he prepared to shoot a ki orb towards Ruby.

*Insert: Brolly Evolves (DBS Broly Ost)*
Nova closed his eyes briefly before opening them again, roaring at him. Turles tried holding him in place, only for his own technique to be turned against him. It allowed Nova to land a hard blow to his face. Turles slammed Nova onto his back after flipping him over his shoulder. Nova roared again, further igniting his ki and causing the ground to shake. Turles punches him, causing the dark saiyan teen to stumble back before Turles is also hit by a punch from the dark saiyan. The two trade blows briefly before Turles is knocked away and summons a small orb of ki to ram into the other saiyan. He dodged out of the way before Nova can step on him. Unfortunately for him, it is crushed by Nova's much larger hand. The evil saiayn can do nothing as his leg is then grabbed by Nova as he's slammed to the ground by the teenaged saiyan. Turles is repeatedly slammed towards the ground like a rag doll, further beating him up and breaking the armor he had on. Turles is heard screaming in pain as he's slammed into the ground with the others watching. Once he's done slamming him into the ground repeatedly, Nova roars and grabs Turles's face.
What the teens see next is nothing they'd wish upon their enemies. Turles is dragged face first through the sides of the cliff they're near, through several buildings, and even through the ground itself. The teen then tosses him into the air before readying an orb of ki in his hand, waiting for the saiyan to fall. Turles fell towards the ground and Nova unleashed the stored Ki orb, which morphed into a giant emerald green colored beam. The beam washed over him and tore through the ground before exploding in the distance. Turles had one thought on his mind as the beam vaporized him: "Darn you, Saiyan brat!"

Nova was then seen to panting in exhaustion as he fell to a knee with his hand still extended forward. At last, the battle was over. Turles was now dead. Ruby and the others rushed towards him. The dark teen held out his hand as his power faded with his hair reverting to how it was before his "Pseudo transformation". Ruby then hugged him with tears in her eyes.
"Nova! You're okay!,"Ruby said.
"Yeah.. Sorry if I worried you guys.,"Nova said stroking Ruby's head as she hugged him.
Nova looked towards Turuk.
"How's Yang?,"He asked.
Turuk was seen carrying the unconscious Yang in his arms like a bride as he looked down at her.
"She's fine. Whatever that power she used was caused by, it seems like it knocked her out.,"Turuk answered.
Weiss then noticed Yang's Tail.
"How about we get out of here?,"Scarlett suggested.
The others noded.
"Sure. But before that... Can someone explain to me HOW Yang has a TAIL now?!"Weiss asked.
Ruby laughed nervously before her tail showed itself.
"Guess she's like me now huh? I have one, too. see?"Ruby said before a black tail unraveled itself from her waist for all to see.
Weiss just blinked before rubbing the bridge of her nose.
"Okay.. let me get this striaght: first off... Yang is apparently a saiyan now or always was. Then two of our friends are actually Nova and Turuk's cousins... who are also saiyans, then two of our professors are apparently the parents of Nova and Turuk, Then Nova displays a power none of us knew he had and that he's apparently the Legendary Super Saiyan, and now... you're telling me that my friend and own team leader apparently has a Saiyan tail too?! Oh and by the way: She can... Fly?!"Weiss said frustrated." I... think I need to lie down before this makes any sense to me."
Aiko looked behind them and spoke up.
"You can do that um.. Weiss but.."Aiko trailed off.
Jaune nodded.
"All the negative energy is attracting Grimm!,"Jaune pointed out.
"Let's get out of here, first!,"Pyrrha added.
"I agree."Blake said.
"No arguments here!,"Ren said.
"Well? what are we waiting for?,"Scarlett asked.
The others nodded and then took off in a sprint to escape from tthat were coming towards them. As they ran, Pyrrha decided to call Ozpin for some help. The headmaster was one step ahead of them as he had already sent a bullhead to pick them up. The Bullhead arrived a few minutes later, much to the teens relief. They hurriedly jumped into the aircraft, just out of the reach of the hordes of Grimm coming towards them. The teens sighed in relief as the Bullhead took off to escape the Grimm.
The mission was over, so they could report back to the Headmaster. Over to the side, Ruby was still seen to hugging Nova and burying her face into his chest. The others recognized they needed some privacy and left them alone. Nova looked down towards Ruby.
"Ruby?,"He asked.
"Can.. I stay like this for a little bit, Nova?"She asked.
He smiled at her.
"Sure thing. I'm.. sorry if i scared you.,"he said.
He heard sniffles from Ruby, like she was crying.
"I.. thought I was going to lose you... Please Nova, d-don't do that again.. It felt like.. you were going somewhere far away and I couldn't follow you!,"Ruby said sniffling.
Nova stroked her hair as he comforted his girlfriend.
"I'm sorry, Rubes. I.. don't know what came over me. I never knew I even had that monstrous power inside of me.. While I can't promise anything, I will do my best not to make you so upset ever again okay?,"He said comforting her.
He continued as he noticed Ruby had stopped crying.
"Tell you what: Why don't I take you to the festival tomorrow? It'll just be the two of us."Nova said.
Ruby looked at him with a noticeable blush on her face.
"R.. Really, Nova? You mean..,"Ruby said but couldn't finish as Nova finished her thought.
Nova nodded.
"Yeah... It'll be our first official date as a couple. And.. I-It's to make up for causing you to be upset.,"Nova said rubbing the back of his head and grinning. "What do you say, Ruby?"
Instead of answering him verbally, Ruby closed her eyes and brought her lips to his. She wrapped her arms around his neck as the two shared the tender gesture of affection. Ruby then pulled back and grinned at him.
"How was that for an answer?,"She asked.
Nova blushed and smiled embarrassed.
"I uh.. still have to get used to those types of answers from you. But I can assume that's a yes?,"Nova said.
Ruby nodded and hugged him.
"I love you, Brussel...,"Ruby said content.
Nova chuckled.
"And I love you, Ruby.,"Nova answered.
Ruby looked toward him again as they leaned in.
Turuk and the others couldn't help but to smile at seeing the two. The scene fades to black as the final scene is of Ruby and Nova leaning their heads against one another as the Bullhead flies off into the distance, back towards Beacon.

Ending: A walk by SOLIDEMO (Black Clover ending 12)
Visuals: Nova by himself walking for a bit before coming face to face with a future form of himself. He then sees his friends ahead of him before stopping. It transitions to shots of each of the main cast's weapons. It even shows a pan of Tarro briefly. Nova continues walking during the build up of the song as it shows each member from the main cast of this story. It briefly shows a closeup of a future form Nova will transform into as he stops to face it. The song continues to build as it then shows a pan up of Ruby's face looking into the distance. It shows a closeup of everyone's dust weapons for a second before the chorus starts. The chorus begins showing the dust weapons as the images range from the chracter's backs to them turning around to welcome Nova into their circle. There's then a flashback of the previous battles everyone's been through so far in the story before transitioning back to Nova rejoining his friends as they walk off into the distance.
Hey guys hope you guys enjoyed the chapter! Sorry it took so long to update this, but just know i'm getting back to this story. Next Chapter will be a little bit of a breather as it will cover the interaction between Tarro and the Saiyan siblings and of course some down time for our main cast before the Vytal Tourney starts in earnest. Chapter 23 will focus more on some development between characters or for personal development. This mini arc was more filled with action, but these characters are only teenagers, they need a break right? Pairings of focus for next chapter will be (Wattpad: Scarlett x Yatsuhashi) Scarlett x Mercury (Fanfiction.net), Turuk x Yang, Nova x Ruby, and Weiss x Daikon. Aiko will get her own personal development going forward in the story as she hasn't really developed personality wise yet, but it's coming don't worry. That's really all for now!
