Vira, who was chewing her meal, choked when she heard the bang of Ashley's thick book on the table.
"Oh my God Ashley, what are you doing! You're going to kill her!" Sunny patted the back of Vira who was choking.
"Do you want to die quickly, you know she has a very powerful husband, she will ask the best hacker in the world to lose your lover's youtube channel!" Sunny pretended to be threatening Ashley who put on a dispirited face.
Ashley took a chair, laid her head on the book on the table, she looked very tired and lethargic, with no enthusiasm at all.
Vira took her drink to lubricate her choked throat. "What happened to you Ashley, you've always been eager to learn all this time, but what's got you down today."
Ashley lifted her head for a moment and then fell back on her face on her book. "my parents always wanted perfect grades, they didn't care how thick the glasses I used, and yesterday I failed, do you know what they said to me?"
