Sensations slowly returned.

April shivered as these sensations greeted her the second she regained consciousness.

Her life energy was drained; no amount of effort in utilizing her Spiritual Vein produced anything.
She was trapped motionless in the dark.
But inside her core, there's something else, there's another presence that seemed to be alive—she could feel its independent movements. Like there was another part inside her that she wasn't aware of, or was it another creature? She didn't know.
Slowly, her senses kept coming back.
Now, her hearing ability returned, and she realized the place she was in was noisy.
It was clear that there was a battle nearby.
April could hear grunting and the wet sound that suspiciously sounded like flesh being torn brutally.
