Although Bai Xiaoxiao had offered to bring Wen Ran her meal, it was Mo Xiuchen who ended up carrying the tray.
"Ranran, are you hungry?"
Mo Xiuchen walked in with the food, his handsome features softened by a gentle smile.
"Why is it you bringing the food? Didn't Xiaoxiao say she would bring it to me?" Wen Ran asked with a teasing smile, to which Bai Yiyi tactfully replied, "Ranran, since someone has come to keep you company for the meal, I won't play the third wheel."
"You should go downstairs and take care of Tongtong."
Wen Ran waved Bai Yiyi off, signaling that with Mo Xiuchen there, there was no need for anyone else to stay.
"Ah Feng is here."
Bai Yiyi left the bedroom and considerately closed the door behind them.
Mo Xiuchen set the food on the circular table in front of the couch and walked over to the bed, where he gently helped Ranran to her feet, whispering as he did.
Wen Ran paused, "Isn't Luo Haofeng supposed to be on a business trip out of town?"
