The night air on the island was cool and damp. While the guests were sleeping, the production crew was considerate enough to tend to everyone's well-being. They placed a dryer at the cave entrance, with everyone's clothes for the next day inside, to prevent them from becoming damp when they wear them for the show.
Shi Su usually sleeps well enough, but perhaps because of sleeping on the island, she woke up before dawn despite sleeping soundly in Jing Jihan's embrace.
She opened her eyes and gently eased out of Jing Jihan's arms. The man slightly opened his eyes, half drowsy, half forcing himself awake, as if to ask her what's wrong.
Shi Su quickly hushed him and whispered, "I'm going to the bathroom. You go back to sleep. I'll find a female staff member from the crew to accompany me."
Even on the island, there were still regular male and female public toilets since it was a tourist area.
