im heading to my room after i got my key and room number, "hey aya can i talk to you in a bit " i looked at the one who was saying that and saw miss charlotte, she was panting, i could tell that she was catching up to me, she looked serious, i stared at her "umm sure, are you ok?" i said, something seems a bit off she was not herself, she had fear, regret, sadness in his eyes, i could tell.
" im fine, anyway we can talk in your room" she said, "ok" i said and we both looked for my room, she was silent the whole way, naturally she would talk nonstop. when i found my room i closed the door and looked at her
"im sorry to be the one to say this, b-but your mom died" she said looking down on the floor, "huh I'm sorry, i didn't hear you correctly could you repeat that?" I said to her. "I'm sorry, but your mom died" she said my mom! "wait what I'm not following but why, she died why?" I looked at her, my cheeks were starting to feel wet , tears were slowly flowing down from my eyes. "th-the fire wizard academy, they murdered her" she said, there was a short silence between us, nobody moved an inch just the faint sound of my tears hitting the floor.
"I think I should tell you the details later, she delivered a letter, I think you should read it later you'll be to shocked if you read it now" she said. I stood there not doing anything.still shocked "well I think I should leave you alone for now, tell me if your ready to read this message" she said, "wait, could you give me that letter now, and please don't leave me alone, I'm scared of being alone" I said. I was scared of being all alone ever since I was 13.ever since what happened
"sure aya" she said to me, she slowly sat on my bed and I sat beside her she gave me a letter there was a note in the front saying, From: mom, To: my Amaya, I could tell from the handwriting that it was her's, I slowly opened it.
"hey my little baby, if your reading this letter, I'm probably not in this world anymore, I'm sorry, looks like it was my time to go, I'm sorry for going so soon. I'm sorry for the mistakes I've done to you when you were just a kid, I hope you still forgive me, I know this letter was short, but I want you to meet Ash Brown she's probably there working at CAA right now , I want you to listen to what she says, she'll explain everything, call her aunt she's my sister, I'm sorry my little baby looks like we'll never meet again, I love you and will always will even if I'm not by your side"
my tears started to make the letter wet, mom why are you saying sorry so much?you did-nt do anything wrong, you didn't even gave me a chance to say goodbye to you. I felt someone embracing me. I screeched and sobbed at that person's arms, it was miss, I held tightly at her shirt and cried, we were in that position for a while. "why did she go like this? why so sudden? I don't even know why she d-ied?. hey miss this is just a dream right? " I looked at her eyes and I saw pity in those eyes. I wiped my tears "do you know Ash Brown, miss charlotte?" I said to her.
" that's me" she said. I wasn't even shocked. "so your my aunt, why didn't you say sooner" I said. "I'm sorry, I couldnt" she said, "so, can you explain to me everything miss?" I said.
Charlotte's POV
she broke down and cried like a child, like a child that's lost in the supermarket, that broke my heart, she looked so much like my sister, her eyes and hair. "so can you explain to me everything miss?" she said, it hurts my heart, I couldnt even see her again, it was all my fault everything was my fault. "it all started when we were kids, we were born into a rich family, until our mother and father died from a car accident, I was 6 and your mother was 12, our mother and father didn't trust us to own they're money, instead they gave all of them to our servant, it was all written in contract and with their signature so we couldn't do anything about it, we were asked to leave our house and we lived in the streets, we survived by stealing from food stalls, it was okay for us atleast we had each other, until Cindy Zhen found us and adopted us and we lived in CAA, with her, she's now the principal. I fell in love with a man called Luck Smith, your father. my sister told me it was a bad idea and told me to stop because that man was evil I wanted to listen but my heart couldn't stop, but that man fell in love with my sister, I envied her, but she didn't like Luck and dumped him, so he started to like me instead, but my sister or should I say your mom told luck to stop asking me out and instead she told him that she liked him in order for him to stop hitting on me back then I didn't know she did that for me, I was angry of course, they were happy at my eyes, I really liked him so I hated my sister, it's been like that until they married, and had a baby, my sister left luck, she said the truth, that she did it for me, it broke my heart. I felt that I didn't even deserve to see her in the human world, I've done so many bad things to her when she and luck dated"
"I'm sorry" I said to Aya. "I don't think you should say that to me, here my mother gave you a letter" she said, i looked at what she gave me and cried.
