Chapter 1 - Prologue

As I sit in the car, away from the town I hate, and away from the the people I hated. I realized I never needed to go back. The pain I felt could never measure up to the happiness I felt when I realized at 14 years old, the torture I endured has ended. I never need to live like that again. I couldn't help but cry as my dad and step-mom asked if I was happy and comforted me. I was so happy to get away from that hell hole. Sure you could say I left my friends but we still talk. I need to tell you why this happened and How I got here and instead of saying "long story short" this....this wont be short. Some of it may be vague but that is because I was young. It's almost sad I still remember my hurt from when I was that young. So if you stay I can tell you what happened and why this moment is so important to me and maybe I'll share what happened after that. So if I may this important day when I was alive with happiness was December 6th 2019. That is the only exact date I remember because it was so important to me. Sorry I got off track I was telling you about when I was younger because, every good book starts in the beginning right? So when I was 4 I remember it was just after the twins were born. My mom forced my dad away. She pined my dad to the closet door with a knife to his throat. I...just got up to get water and when I saw I froze and started screaming and crying. I said things like "no", "please don't", "mom", "dad", "leave him alone". I didn't see him again till the CPS tracked him down. In between that time was was when my mom never showed up to the house often and left us kids home for long periods of time. I can't tell you everything all at once so maybe next time I'll tell you more. By the way thanks I'm not....used to people you know listening to what I have to say.
