When one levels up, they gain a 20% increase boost in their stats which is why it is almost impossible to beat someone with a higher levels than you. It is also the reason why most adventurers levels up as soon as possible since it gives quick gains.
The maximum possible in stat in this fanfic is 1000 (which will also be Bell's top by the way)
