Su Li followed his gaze and saw Wei Chengfeng sitting on the sofa in the lobby, looking at her with a gloomy expression that was somewhat frightening.
Su Li said to Lu Wei, "You go up first."
Lu Wei nodded and also nodded towards Wei Chengfeng across the way as a greeting.
After Lu Wei left, Su Li walked over to him and asked, "Why are you here?"
Wei Chengfeng remained seated, looked up at her, and countered, "Why can't I be here?"
Su Li ignored his question, just smiled faintly, and said, "I didn't know you were coming, so I went to eat. Have you eaten?"
Wei Chengfeng did not respond. Instead, the driver, very observantly, said, "The boss canceled a lot of work and rushed over here. He's been waiting for Madam and hasn't eaten a thing."
Su Li nodded, then said to Wei Chengfeng, "You must be exhausted, go up and rest first. Just order whatever you want to eat and have it delivered."
