Then, she shrugged her shoulders, with an expression of helplessness.
It made Sylvia Coleman so angry she was about to explode, though a wave of fury surged in her heart.
But reason told her that Tessa Caldwell had a wealthy patron, someone she could not afford to provoke.
She didn't say anything at the time, but as soon as Tessa Caldwell entered the elevator, she angrily shouted, "You're just someone's mistress, I know you have an old man behind you, someone powerful, you want to kick me out, I'm telling you, no way, I'm not afraid—!"
Before she finished her words, she suddenly stopped as if in a jam.
All because the elevator doors opened at this moment.
