The enthusiastic shouts echoed over the square and spread across half of the town.
"The judges for the event are: Clan Leader Enis Uptidec of the Uptidec Family, Clan Leader Priy Rogglinton of the Rogelinton Family, Clan Leader Ken Seifreed of the Seifreed Family... joined by Dean Chris from the Land of Light!"
"Now, let the contestants enter!"
The introduction reached the contestants at the edge of the square.
The host, holding a list, introduced each figure as they stepped into the square.
"Do we really have to do it this way?"
Lu Li stayed in place because he didn't want to hear "Oh my God, look who's here, our Legendary Exorcist—Lu—Li—" when he appeared.
The source of this wickedly fun atmosphere was unknown, whether it was Claire or Chris... or perhaps both.
