The slightly salty sea breeze from the coast stirred the stuffy, damp, and decaying wooden smell inside the room.

Perhaps the answer lay over there, but Lu Li remembered something, crawled back through the window into the room, walked into the dim and oppressive bedroom filled with turbid air, closed the door that scraped against the floor with a dull sound, and shut himself in a pitch-black cage.
