Chapter 30 - Cemetery Fright

The first few zombies that rushed over were still in confusion when they were stabbed to the ground by the escort who suddenly burst out of his own potential. Such a scene produced a chain reaction, making those zombies even more confused, with a few even tripping over corpses and falling to the ground.

"Stay in formation!" Alexander roared, slashing two zombies that came around and tried to pounce on the lord. And with those words, he also pulled back a few squires who had already rushed forward after killing the red-eye.

The formation was a bit confusing, but still effective. The squires, as they had been taught during the day, continued to work together and thrust their pitchforks forward, stabbing several zombies that had regained their feet to the ground. And after this time, their chaotic movements were a little more like a rabble in front of this group of soldiers!

Two more combined thrusts, and after the thrusts, the soldiers fell in front of the enemy in rows.

The holy song of the true word kept echoing in the soldiers' ears, making them more and more brave as they fought. The mindless enemies opposite them lost most of their aggressiveness in the song, and after being stabbed down, even crawled around on the ground. Soon they were all finished off by the soldiers.

Indeed, as the lord said, when they cast away the fear in their hearts, these zombies are a group of unarmed crazy refugees.

After the hymn was played, a new hymn was sung. The moonlight in the hymn suddenly penetrated the mist and illuminated the place. These bright lights not only shone on the undead on the ground, but also illuminated the retinue.

Such a scene is incomparably uplifting, but also let the soldiers' confidence completely built up.

George did not waste this opportunity, he looked at those who were staring at the sky dumbfounded squires, suddenly reached out and pointed, said loudly: "Look, God is watching you!"

These words were like a thunderbolt!

"God!" Wow, I don't know who was the first to suddenly cry out, after that all the people fell to their knees in excitement and joined in the prayers and cries. They kept opening their hands, looking at the light above the sky, and sang hymns haphazardly under their mouths.

As these off-key, wrong words of the song sounded, the font above the heads of the squires gradually coalesced, completely put their whole bodies and minds into the embrace of the God of refuge.

Yet not in piety, but in blind faith.

'...' George blinked his eyes and confirmed the words above those remarks again, but found that this was indeed the case: 'Blind believers again, I have preached this doctrine and holy scriptures, can't you be pious and have to be superstitious? What am I doing wrong... Forget it, I need them to be blind now anyway.'

Ordered the excited squires to gather all the corpses together and light them up. George took the scroll and read it.

''The zombies in the graveyard became five. The monster in the mill still hasn't moved a muscle.' He put away the scroll and thought: 'The squires should not be afraid of the ghost now, right?'

In the midst of a short break, George checked the bodies of the squires. He found that although there were some bruises and scratches on these people, it seemed that most of them had done it themselves in the panic. To reassure them and to prevent accidental infection. George sang a lighter version (without mana) of the 'holy hymn' and prayed with them.

This faint sacred breath can not make people heal wounds quickly, but is able to dispel decay and infection.

And at this time has been completely blind to the lord of the squires, but also always in the middle of this hymn, can feel a comfortable coolness, give them courage.

But in fact, it was only just after exercise, the wind blew through the sweat...

"You have been blessed by the God of refuge, today no matter what evil demons and ghosts, can not erode you." George is full of solemn holy face, began a real 'spell casting'. After swimming in the lake, he suddenly closed his eyes, listened sideways for a moment and said: "Come, let's go to the cemetery, God told me there is something over there that needs to be overtaken, and He also like to see the prowess of the guardians of God - your bravery, has made Him to focus His eyes on you completely. "

After hearing this snub, the retinue was simply furious. They fist raised the coal lamp, picked up the torch, seems to have some impatience...

The first time I deal with ghosts, don't give me any fucking trouble. George in the heart for their own cheer, led the people around the mill, towards the cemetery.

The night is like paint, the cemetery sky is not even a star, near those withered old trees of the sparse branches slanting down, around the mass of fog. The tombstones are standing, and there are spots of green fire floating around that.

Occasionally flying crows whoosh, causing the forest rustling, it is not known where to scamper out of a few hares, it suddenly felt the bleak forest, the gloomy wind.

George and his entourage into the long-rotten destruction of the iron fence, after the edge of the cemetery stopped, and at their feet is the new pit filled in during the day.

This cemetery George is not the first time to come, but never felt the surroundings, the original is so ghastly. He pinched the root of his thigh to stop it from trembling. The eyes swept over the squires next to him, but found that the guys were not at all afraid of the feeling. Instead, they stared at the few zombies in front of them and leaped for joy.

''Motherfucker, really ignorant and fearless ah! George gulped and looked towards an underground crypt built of lime stone not far away, another chamber under the castle where his ancestors were buried. And in this catacomb, those buried are the vassals and loyal servants, as well as illegitimate children.

He had seen in the scroll that the alien ghost was wandering in the crypt, disturbing the sleep of the dead.

A certain retainer shook the torch on his hand, and five zombies were immediately attracted by the firelight. Looking at the five lurching mad refugees, the squires raised the iron forks in their hands and were about to start fighting with them.

Just at this time, George suddenly felt a gust of gloomy wind coming.

He turned his head sharply and found a leaf swirling near the tomb. A pale withered face, sweeping those dead leaves, flew out from the mists above the tomb.

It emitted a long echoing sound of 'oo~w~' from its mouth, causing a pang of panic in George's heart. He was afraid that the squires were disturbed, and immediately turned the hammer at his waist into a 'holy sword' and yelled for them to cheer up: "Don't be afraid! First deal with the zombie, that monster has me to deal with, this holy sword in my hand can kill it with one sword! Really..."

However, when he turned around, he found that the soldiers did not notice the thing and were concentrating on fighting with those zombies. Only Alexander looked back at himself with a strange face and said, "Who are you going to slash to death? My Lord, I'll do it!"

He has been watching the battle is feeling a little itchy hands.

George widened his eyes and watched the ghost float past the heads of Alexander and the squires, and every time it floated near a person, the people nearby would involuntarily shiver and their vitality would be reduced by 1 point, but none of them noticed the ghost in front of them.

It's like it doesn't even exist...

Of all the people, only Alexander was unaffected, and the ghost seemed to deliberately bypass him, as if it had something to fear. However, the mighty warrior was unable to see the ghost.

The ghost's vacant eyes swept over everyone, as if picking out food. Finally, he fixed his eyes on George.

The next thing he noticed was that there was no one around. And he suddenly appeared in the middle of the cemetery!

He turned around and raised his eyes to look around. The strange trees were flailing in the fog, and the fog swept in from all directions around him, making him colder and colder, and something like hair kept tickling the back of his neck, and his shoulders heaved.

George suddenly felt a chill from his back straight to the top of his head, and even his hair exploded. He did not have time to think, turned around and wielded the longsword in his hand, but found only a wooden stick in his hand. And there wasn't anything behind him.

Just then, a rotten, pale face suddenly reached over his shoulder and stuck right in front of his face!

George, whose hair had exploded, loudly extolled the mighty name of the god of asylum!

But although he had already chanted the entire hymn in his mind in an instant, but in this anxiety, the syllables that came out of his mouth were so brief that even he himself could not tell which patron god he was shouting.

But it seems to have worked.

After hearing that, the ghost suddenly used his dry hands to cover his face in horror! Immediately after that, it burned in the harsh screams!

The scene around suddenly changed, George blinked, found that the nearby escorts are cleaning up the zombie corpses, their own surroundings are not those thick fog, and the trees are still the same trees, they are standing in the same place just now.

The body does not want to be as cold as before, but there is a heat flow emanating from the divine aura. But his body was already soaked through.

He recalled the scene just now, as if he was in the midst of a crisis, and unconsciously silently sent out the whole truth.

A big face suddenly came over, scaring that George, who had not yet recovered, jumped up in place, and even the longsword in his hand flew to the side.

"What's wrong with you, chief?" This big face is none other than Alexander. He was looking at his lord with a curious face.

Said to, he also stretched out a big hand, dusted on the top of George's shoulder.

A pile of white ash fell from George's shoulders.

George lowered his head to find that there was a small pile of embers at his feet.

"It's not... It's okay." George gasped, looked at the pile of embers, reached out and grabbed it. Alexander, meanwhile, watched his boss's actions with curiously wide eyes - he thought George was crazy because he didn't see anything in his hands at all.

George ignored the big fool, he opened his hand and let the ashes float in the wind from between his fingers.

Looking at the ashes flying in the sky, George no longer have a sense of fear in his heart.

Because, the unknown has become known.
